A dual purpose here.
Trying to knock the spam threads off the active list and testing the waters for a possible meet up in June.
The one this week was such a tonic.
Anyone up for one in June before the weans are on holiday ?

Thank you marydoll I’ve got my favourite seat on the bus, top deck of the double decker at the very front 🤣

The view must be wonderful, brook.
I would have to get off at House of Bruar and catch the next bus. 😍

That sounds perfect, brook! I remember trying to get that seat on the bus home from school so long ago!

Thank you all the lovely glesca grannies that made it this time, who helped me get there and were so welcoming after all my recent griefs. Glesca granny hugs are awesome! I tired quickly but it was great to see people again and to meet Larra for the first time.

My journey home was fine. A wee wait for a train but I had a lovely conversation with a small boy who was waiting with his mum beside me, all about trains and how wonderful they are.

I messaged MrB to see if there might be a lift at the other end in our new (second-hand) car who is called Juliett – NATO phonetic alphabet Juliett because she has a J in her registration and neither of us could remember what J was when we were arranging the insurance. We'll never forget again. But he messaged me back to say the Juno (the goddess, no less) was blocking the exit.

Juno was hauled away by tractor so all was well. I'd better explain...

We live in the house of the inventors and builders of the Gareloch One Design sailboats and the owner of one of them – a descendant of the designers and builders – (they all have goddess names; check them out here: garelochod.org/about-history/), lives down the hill from us. Juno was being moved from her shed boathouse and there's only a single track one way out from the Boggy Brae.....

Anyway... MrB and Juliett were waiting for me at the station.

A good day. Thank you, all.

Thank you, Grandmabatty and Marydoll, I certainly missed seeing everyone. I dozed most of the afternoon, needed to recharge my batteries! Wonderful to see Baggs in the photos, I'm so glad she made it. Sending my hugs to her too. Welcome to Larra, look forward to seeing you next time.
The Cologne Grans will be over the moon, we're one goal up at the moment! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Enjoy your evening, lovely ladies.

Another Gran who’s had a lovely afternoon meeting old friends and new.
Good to see the photos too and thanks to the photographers.
A bit tired after my drive home but it was worth it and at least it was a sunny drive and thank goodness for BBC Sounds to keep me entertained en route.

Late as usual, thanks for the photographs, a nice memory of a very enjoyable afternoon. Everyone in the group is great company, I think it did us all good, everyone left with a smile on their faces!

I am sorry to have missed out but I'm still enjoying myself in Northern Denmark with my DB. A cuckoo has been serenading us all morning.
