Glesca Grannies mailing list. Thoughts, please?

Good morning, Glesca Grannies, I have been thinking (a dangerous business.)

The Colchester grans have a FB page I believe and wondered what we could do to improve communication for our group.
I don't like Facebook, but wondered if a mailing list would be appropriate. That way, everyone would be in the loop.
Of course, we would still advertise on GN, so that no-one is excluded.

I understand grans may understandibly not wish to divulge their email address, but I would only send blind copies, so no-one would be aware of anyone else's email address. Apart from me, that is.
I do this for the various groups in my church and it works well.

What do you think?

Good morning all, at present we have thirteen members, with at least two more to follow. Thank you all for bearing with me.

Everyone is welcome to join our meet ups, regardless of where you live.

Most of us don't actually live in Glasgow itself, but as all roads lead to Glasgow, it is the ideal meeting place.

Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts. Unfortunately it is only 7°C here!

I think most of the Glasgow grans have responded, including a few new members, but I will keep pushing this. You do not need to live in Glasgow to join, we come from all airts and pairts.

We are a friendly and welcoming group and are happy to see new faces.
