I doubt that I will make it to Squires tomorrow, I've acquired a nasty cold from one of my grandsons and have been keeping a low profile today. I'll see how I feel in the morning, but I don't think you all want me coughing and sneezing over the coffee and cakes. I'm really fed up by this turn of events, but c'est la vie, I suppose.

As to the Star Lane crossing, I hadn't remembered that, so will have to find another route. 🤞

Have you used it yet Auntieflo? Nobody seems to know who has the right of way. At the junction I will have to negotiate three lots of pedestrian crossings to get to NMR (can’t call them zebras because they are leaves and not stripes!!) Except that if I can go straight across I will miss them all but then I will meet other traffic coming across from the other direction. Best not to think about it. Will your journey be OK as DiL said Star Lane crossing was closed last time she tried to use it?

That’s good Deedaa . Just a gentle reminder of our meet up at Squires a week yesterday (9th)and to extend an invitation to anybody else who would care to join us. You will be more than welcome. I will have to brave the new Cali non roundabout junction ( have you seen it on the national news- total confusion?) as my other route is closed. Looking forward to seeing you all about 10.30 ish.

Sorry to hear about your husband Penny. I hope it's something that can easily be sorted out. My week is still looking clear, so hopefully will be along as usual.

Unfortunately, I cannot make our meeting next week. My husband has medical issue so it will be the Royal Berks instead. Fingers crossed for the next meet up - if you dont give up on me! Enjoy yourselves. x
