Meet up Matlock,Bakewell ,Ashbourne

I'd like to join in, could get to any of these places. I'm new to the area, don't know anyone! What about a date in May, when weather might be better?

Any of the above are good for me. One thing I would say about Chatsworth garden centre is that they get coach parties there which tends to make it busy in the spring and summer, but it would be the same wherever you go in the Peak District.

A couple of miles beyond Hathersage is a small garden centre with a nice cafe. Open every day and has a car park.

I’m near to both Bakewell and Matlock.

Sounds like we might have a plan.I am in Matlock area but can travel to Eyam ,Grindelford area. Weather too bad to travel at the moment.

I’m only ever go through Hathersage on my way to Ladybower now, but it used to be a pain to park there.

I'm at the top end of Derbyshire and DD is in Sheffield. How about Castleton or Hathersage?

I live in Sheffield too and Bakewell is not far away. I agree with Greyduster let’s get winter over with first!

I live in Sheffield but Bakewell is doable once we get the winter out of the way. Ashford in the Water has a nice, if small tearoom.

There’s got to be Gransnetters in Derbyshire, surely! Buxton ,anyone? or a Local Gransnetters…. Help!
