Im 68 and still get hot flushes!!! also suffering from vaginal atrophy and urine infections! its never ending! I cant take hrt due to being a high risk to cancer!

Sorry to inform you*battycat*, but I had my last period when I was 53, exactly 40 after my first! I am now 64 and still having hot flushes. My memory has returned to normal (phew). I was woolly headed for years, needing a list in case I forgot anything.
I have been told that hot flushes can persist for 14 years, so I might have a few years to go yet. ?

I've read the literature obviously but I'm interested to hear what real life people's experiences are? I'm 58 and into year 3 already. Do I genuinely need to settle myself down for years to come? Give me strength!!!
