One of the Telegraph articles said, in effect, that Snowden was right to expose "the cancer at the heart of US government" but that his action that followed - seeking refuge in Russia - was unprincipled. Having seen the way that Bradley Manning was treated (being stripped and kept in solitary confinement before his trial and then getting a 35-year sentence), Snowden would have been pretty silly to hang around and wait for the US authorities to pick him up.

I feel very sorry for Bradley Manning. Poor mixed up kid.

I had the misfortune to catch Sky News the other morning - Eamon wotsit and two others were reviewing the newspapers and tittering at the photo of Bradley Manning dressed as a female in a blonde wig.

It seemed so heartless - the boy is young, immature and had just been sentenced to 35 years.

Just seems rude to igonore a polite request and then just say "Google it" when asked for a simple explanation of an abbreviation/acronym.
