Are you the jealous type? I most certainly would not have entertained sitting at the same table in the same restaurant with that man! We cannot be sure that Saatchi and Trinny were arguing, but it looks likely.

I agree he seems to be a rather slimey repulsive creature, but this incident seems rather strange. Why would she sit with him there? Do you think it's a setup and they're trying to frame him?

I think it's attention seeking. hmm

A powerful autocratic man who is attracted to and attractive to vulnerable women. He likes to be in charge and manipulate them, they are attracted to his certainty and control.

I have known a lot of couples in this kind of relationship. it rarely ends happily and some times the end is catastrophic.

I would add this is the classic relationship in emotionally abusive, and often violent relationships.

Yes Flickety, is it.

He certainly seems to have some control over these women or surely they would get up and walk off - pouring their wine over his head en route. He seems an unpleasant individual but obviously has 'something' about him to attract vulnerable women.

Oh no I wouldn't !!!

He's probably told her the same story such men tell, that Nigella did not 'understand' him, that Nigella's hormones were permanently up the creek, etc, etc. And there is one type of woman that seems to fall for it, again, and ... again.

I console myself with the thought that I am absolutely the last woman on earth that Saatchi would want to share a table or relationship with. To confident and too self-assured.

Ahahah join the club wine wine wine

Who, him or you? grin

I think I can guess!

He might be very good in bed. Perhaps he's got animal magnetism.

I read somewhere that Nigella told a friend that at the beginning of her relationship with him they were in bed a lot and all she ever wore were stockings, suspenders and high heels.

merlotgran Wed 04-Jun-14 22:47:16

He wouldn't fancy me then.

Didn't the shoes keep getting caught in the sheets?

As far as I am concerned they never get a chance to impress me in bed unless they have first impressed me out of bed and fully dressed.

I don't know a lot about the effect of drugs (never tried 'em) but isn't one of them the intensification of sexual experience and enthusiasm? So if he is so keen on it he should have been delighted if Nigella was pepped up.

He sounds exhausting as well as noxious.

FlicketyB Thu 05-Jun-14 17:58:37

I always think he sounds such a BORE.
