Lovely pics

Much better than the very formal photos that used to be the norm.

loopylou - do you really think they dress him like that on a daily basis?! hmm

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 07-Jun-15 18:37:45

They are obviously doing what many young parents do these days - put the first pics up on social mnedia. Why should it be a formal photo-shoot? (Don't forget that would cost money. And then you would have something more to howl about hmm)

Oh don't worry, jingl; there are plenty of soppy comments on other forums such as Silver Surfers.

Blimey, do you actually look on there, anno? shock

I think George looks really sweet dressed like that for a special photo.

loopylou Sun 07-Jun-15 19:15:46

I sincerely hope not jingl [grin*

I agree they're lovely formal pictures.

I think he looks just like his great uncle Charles and his great grandfather.

loopylou Sun 07-Jun-15 20:58:44

Poor little mite absent if he gets GF's ears.....

I liked the fact that Charlotte looked like a normal baby in a babygro rather than some frilly concoction although I suppose the poor child will have to wear that dreadful christening gown.

I think most parents would have dressed George up a bit for a photo. I even have photo's of GS1 in a collar and tie at a wedding.

I didn't know they had a Spanish nanny. The outfits do look like the sort of thing you see in Spanish shops for posh small outfits.

FarNorth Mon 08-Jun-15 15:25:30

I somehow don't think the nanny will be getting the final say on what they wear.

They are perfectly nice photo's. However , I always wonder why newspapers and magazines print so many. Especially when they print whole supplements. What do people do with them ? Does anyone actually keep them ? Here we glance at them and then they go with the rest of the paper into the recycling bin.

ginny Collecting royal memorabilia is a popular pastime, whether commemorative mugs and tea towels or colour supplements and magazines. So much is mass-produced these days that is unlikely to gain much value of the years, although there are those who are hopeful that it will, but it gives a lot of people pleasure – and rather crowded houses.

After William and Kate`s wedding, which we enjoyed watching on TV, we ordered a DVD of the wedding online, thinking we`d like to watch it again, but it`s still got the cellophane wrapper on it, maybe it`ll be worth what we paid for it in a few years time?
