It is good to hear a politician who has a genuine concern for those who are disadvantaged and who appears to have some integrity. I am amazed that his opponents cannot see that the more they "dis" him, the more squeaky clean and principled he appears.
I think it would be good if he won, because I think it will precipitate a shake-up within this and other parties that might result in a bit more transparency and clarity. Labour is no longer Labour - Blair saw to that; at least if JC wins then those who have drifted too far from its basic principles will have to get out.
I would be happier with parties that really were what they claimed, rather than, as Labour has been doing, hiding behind a facade of being a Labour party whilst actually being something quite different.
At least we will know what we are voting for or against.
Has anyone got a really good lemon zester?
. He went to Oxford himself. No problem going to a fee paying school or Oxford but don't look a fool when you are talking about yourself too.
- it is not a programme I listen to but it is interesting to here the effect this election is having from the left to the right and everyone in between.
