I'm with him on this

Actually... correction to above... some Tories are Cameronites. There,s no way of knowing if they all are, but no doubt he has some supporters in the Party. He may even have some supporters who aren't Tory Party members. There's no way of knowing without conducting a survey.

Similarly, some Corbynites might not be Labour Party members.

That's right thatbags, not all Tories are Cameronites and not all Labour supporters are Corbynites! (well, according to some Labour supporters I know.)
Similarly, some Corbynites might not be Labour Party members.
Very true.

I found Gordon Brown to be charismatic when in a room but it never came across on tv.
No, I never thought he was in the least charismatic anniebach - until I saw him campaigning in the referendum debtate and he seemed like a different person - perhaps without the chains of office weighing him down.

There are probably quite a few Green Party members who are Corbynites. Similar ideology, it would seem...

rosequartz Sun 08-Nov-15 15:07:50

Some Labour supporters may be Burnhamites or Cooperites

So are Green Party members not Bennettites? - I bet quite a few of them are still Lucasites though.
(sounds like a pick-me-up drink!)

Goes with the territory.

He has also been praised, e.g. for staying to talk to veterans when other politicians had gone off to a VIP lunch.

Just making the point that reporting about JC is not as one-sided as some people seem to think.

Anniebach Mon 09-Nov-15 17:47:32

So some Tories may be Osbournites

Galen Mon 09-Nov-15 17:48:12

Isnt there a song in Jesus Christ superstar that goes
"JC JC youre allright by me"

Perhaps he should adopt it?

Personally i think he's the best present the Torys could have.!

POGS Mon 09-Nov-15 18:40:10

Anniebach

Yeeeeeeees

rosequartz Mon 09-Nov-15 20:27:19

Well, that headline is just ridiculous!

Part of the Remembrance Service is to pray for those affected by conflict, not just those of this country but all around the world, and for refugees and to pray for peace.

rosequartz Mon 09-Nov-15 20:28:35

That was a good photo opportunity though, wasn't it thatbags!

thatbags Mon 09-Nov-15 21:37:09

Yes, but he is leader of the Labour Party, so taking advantage of good photo opportunities is to be expected, as it would be of anyone in his position.

Ana Mon 09-Nov-15 22:18:14

Exactly. As I said previously, it goes with the territory - both good and bad publicity.

POGS Mon 09-Nov-15 22:21:04

There is also the other view that the PM, dignitaries et all remove themselves from the parade for the march pass so the veterans and parade partakers are the focus of the parade for the duration of the march pass.

The media focus in other words is not courted by politicians etc. they are secondary to the Queen and the veterans as it should be.

Anniebach Tue 10-Nov-15 09:29:45

The Sun considered the queen secondary to Corbyn, they put him on their front page - not the queen

rosequartz Tue 10-Nov-15 11:02:33

anniebach I am surprised that the Sun put news on the front page grin

Which page was HM on? I am not going to look myself - virtue wotever

Anniebach Tue 10-Nov-15 11:12:33

Rosequartz, I only saw the front page on the tv paper review, think the queen would have chosen the racing pages anyway grin

granjura Tue 10-Nov-15 13:36:13

I rather like the diminutives for conservatives- as a French speaker. LOL, says it all ;)

rosesarered Tue 10-Nov-15 16:30:12

Corbyn is a novelty at the moment....... It will soon wear off.

rosequartz Tue 10-Nov-15 17:52:33

I only saw the front page on the tv paper review Thank goodness for that Anniebach
[virtue signalling] grin

I agree about the Queen.
