Why is it that any attempts at civilised conversation always descends into at best bickering, and at worse outright aggression.
Those of us of a moderate persuasion are quite aware that D.C. and his government are responsible for all the ills of this country, probably the universe as well, quite likely since the beginning of time!, we are told this with boring repetition!! We understand that JC is clearly a saint who will lead us all to Paradise, lions will lie down with lambs, families with problems will overnight become exemplary citizens, all national and international headaches which now seem so intransigent, will, miraculously be resolved. But until that happy day becomes reality it would be nice for people to be able to pool ideas and have a coherent discussion without it constantly being turned into a bad tempered argument about figures and statistics which are probably flawed anyway. All that does is ensure that any difference of opinion will in the stifle the conversation to a grinding halt.

You may think Cameron is responsible fit the crusades nigglenellie, I only hold him responsible for his actions and lack of action since becoming PM. Neither do I agree test Corbyn is a saint.

How did Corbyn look ridiculous on PMQ? I think that asking questions about flooding is eminently preferable to not answering them and making cheap jibes in response.

Because all his six questions were basically the same question, and even when answered by Cameron( in a no nonsense from you matey mood)Corbyn just ploughed on and on, even the Labour back benchers looked cheesed off.

As our village was flooded yesterday, and knowing people in Leeds, Manchester, Cockermouth and York who were close to being flooded in their homes, I was grateful to see he asked relevant questions.
I do not think any of them would appreciate Cameron's mood.

He could have asked 2 questions on the floods and taken Cameron to task about other things, he is just not good at PMQ's.

And he's even worse at reshuffling his shadow cabinet. He's coming over as incompetent and rather unpleasant to a lot of people, not just right wingers.

It seems he only wants 'yes men' (and women) to serve under him. So much for a 'new kind of politics'.

I just think he's too old, end of. I'm sure he means well but I can't imagine the majority of the public will vote or want 'a blast from the past' as the next PM. Maybe JC is just there for a year or two and will be replaced by a younger more modern person time come.

They want to know why the government stopped money for flood defences, particularly in Leeds.
I heard on the radio today that households completely flooded out in central York who have no insurance will get £500 compensation. These are households so poor they cannot afford insurance.

I find the BBC coverage of the reshuffle rather hysterical, two junior ministers , both blairites lose their jobs , three more blairites resign and doing so on TV and radio is so obvious it was planned. Seems everyone has forgotten Cameron's night of the long knives in 2014, he got shot of front benchers to make posts available for women following the attacks in the press of it being an old boys club, he even gave that ghastly Esther McMay- not sure how to spell her name - a post in the cabinet , she lost her seat less than a year later , he even booted Ken Clarke out, demoted his friend Willie Hague, yet all this hysteria over a few junior posts
