We haven't a hope in he** of winning due to the political nature of the voting nowadays but despite that it's still good fun.

I often have wondered how these countries who are not actually in Europe are able to enter. It was more interesting when we had a choice of about 6 songs to vote for and the public decided which one was the UK entry. They also played the songs on the radio music shows and the singer would have a spot on some Saturday night shows. That is one thing I think UK could pull out of and save the money for other programmes.

Great show. Pity we didn't get more points, but I did like the new voting system. Wasn't keen on Ukraine's song though. I voted for The Netherlands.

I really disliked the Ukraine song but did warm to it slightly after the third hearing.

I started watching about half way through. I hadn't heard the UK song before and thought it was very good - deserving of many more points than it got.

I didn't like the Australian or the Ukrainian songs but quite liked Belgium, Croatia and the Netherlands.

The best bit for me was definitely Justin Timberlake. I thought the presenters were really good too.

As is the way now, the whole vote was political but there is no way round this.

I guess the vote was the great unwashed European (and obviously Australian...) general public showing Russia and a certain Mr P what they thought of his megalomania.

The Polish workers elsewhere in Europe voted for their home country, hence it shooting up from last when the telephone votes were taken into account.

The only country showing allegiance to us was dear old Malta - they at least, have long memories.... but I'm afraid we are done for, Eurovision-wise. Poor old Blighty!
