Only a few months and there will be a new PM, who?

grin

Aha! I don't suppose that has anything to do with appealing to the two thirds of Conservative MPs who supported Remain hmm

Rocks and hard places come to mind.

In the words of Mandy Rice Davies-"Well he would, wouldn't he."

Hunt is talking about a possible second referemdum

Anniebach Tue 28-Jun-16 08:48:55

I cannot understand the - what's in it for me attitude when it comes to voting, never could , sod the hungry, the disabled who are losing their benefits, - I'm alright Jack.

trisher Tue 28-Jun-16 08:23:31

Jeremy Hunt is talking about standing-well that's us screwed then!

whitewave Mon 27-Jun-16 14:30:14

Well * petra* your reply shows that you simply don't know what you are talking about.

My son is responsible amongst the South Coast for this area so I do, having listened to him talk about it and explain the issues over the past years. It is absolutely clear that migrant birds will be severely hit at their feeding grounds will be destroyed, the nursery fish beds will be destroyed. Shall I go on because I can if you need convincing?

However, of course as Gove said experts like my son know nothing. Well I am glad my son has wasted 8 years at university, and the past 19 years learning and gaining experience of the issues at stake.

petra Mon 27-Jun-16 14:22:54

durhamjen Not worried about the cost.

* Whitewave* People said that wildlife would be destroyed when they built the wind farms. My very close friends boat has been hired for 2 days a month for the past 8 years to ' count the dead birds' as they call it. Do you know that so far not one dead bird has been found. Add to that that because the fishing boats are banned from these areas the fish stocks have increased 100 fold.
By the way, this madness costs us the taxpayer £1600 A DAY.

durhamjen Mon 27-Jun-16 13:57:04

Petra's not bothered about that, just as long as it makes it easier for her to escape from the UK.

There's one thing, whitewave. If they do get Boris for PM, at least we will be able to say that it's not our fault. We tried our hardest to stop the UK going down the pan, being led by this idiot.

petra and the wildlife habitats that will be destroyed?

durhamjen Mon 27-Jun-16 13:39:48

Not quiet a few. Not quiet at all.

durhamjen Mon 27-Jun-16 13:39:04

For heavens sake, petra, it's good to know you are concerned about the ordinary people, or even anyone but you.
I do hope the cost of your long haul flights doubles.

petra Mon 27-Jun-16 13:37:38

I wonder how many people around Heathrow are thinking about this. Quiet a few I would think.

petra Mon 27-Jun-16 13:35:44

I don't care who it is because quiet frankly they're all the same ( snouts in troughs)
But if I had to choose it would be Boris, then we would have the estuary airport. That together with another Thames crossing ( that's coming) will mean I won't have to travel too far for my long haul flights.

Actually I don't think any of them are up to sorting this mess. None of the EU members is prepared for any talks before Article 50. These talks are going to be very tough indeed. Cameron found that at the end of 2015, and that was when we were a member.

That and at the same time that 50% of the country are extremely sceptical along with the Commins and Lords.

We will of course respect the democratic process but we do not intend to be patsies and accept something that may well ruin the UK economy, we love our country too much to let that happen. Don't forget we have to protect the disaffected people who voted for out. Allowing our economy to be hit by poor negotiations will do nothing to support the poor.

whitewave Mon 27-Jun-16 11:47:01

Please not Liam Fox. Someone associated with fraud and who believes in the Americanisation of our society

varian Mon 27-Jun-16 11:26:55

Farage has said we must have a Brexit PM and he'd be happy with Boris, Gove or Liam Fox - so no point in considering anyone else folks - just do what Nigel says - he knows what's best.

Oh, and he also just said we are now going in to a recession but it's nothing to do with Brexit!

I can't understand why this extra £350m/week is not going to make us all rich. Wasn't that what he promised before the vote?

Anniebach Mon 27-Jun-16 10:03:14

Boris has said no need to panic ! Cpl.Jones !

durhamjen Mon 27-Jun-16 09:55:19

Boris says project fear has ended.
Nicola Sturgeon said project farce has now begun.

POGS Mon 27-Jun-16 09:51:24

Depends what you ' want to hear' or take away from his appearence and words.

Anniebach Mon 27-Jun-16 09:42:29

Seems Osbourne is joining Johnson camp, perhaps he visited Damascus over the weekend

durhamjen Mon 27-Jun-16 09:37:47

Yes, I watched it. Didn't say much, did he?
He did say his political future will be sorted out in the next few days.
Perhaps he is going to be the anyone but Boris candidate.

POGS Mon 27-Jun-16 09:27:34

Durhamjen/Alex Salmond 18.38
