Surely you should be proud of voting Remain, if that's what you decided was right. It's only Leave voters who should be hanging their heads in shame according to some posters!

I think that the real effects of leaving the EU will not be seen or known for some years but from what the people in charge are now saying it would seem they still have their heads in the sand. There will be 27 countries remaining in the EU - they have already said that when the button is pressed on Article 50 THEY will decide the terms on which the UK leaves the Union ---- but I expect they are just scaremongering! -

And I suppose it will take some years for the collapse of civilisation as we know it predicted by the Remainers to come about.

Some of the ones with the most votes will have the agenda that they want to make it very, very clear that leaving the EU is not easy and cannot be done on pick and mix terms.

By the way there's still time for us whinging remainers to email our MP's before next weeks debate to ask that our views are represented even if their MP voted Leave [which mine did].

Speaking as someone who voted Remain, I would like to thank all those who voted to leave the EU because, quite honestly, it looks as if it is going to implode in the future with all the crises it is coping with (or not coping with).

Didn't vote for £350 million a week to be spent on the NHS, which is a shame really, because some say they will never vote Tory again if that doesn't happen.

David Davies says there will not be any on the one land border that we have with the EU, which means anyone can come in through Ireland. Clever plan of the Brexiteers, isn't it?

As yet I can see little to be positive about and hardly a democratic vote when the outcome was all based on lies. Also it was not set up to be a decision which had to be implemented - such as when there is a General Election - but an 'advisory' referendum. It was not set out correctly at the start by Cameron's Govt. if it was to be binding.

I am sure that had the vote been the other way with 52 Remain and 48 Leave the Brexit people would not just be leaving it or getting over it - in fact Farage said so before the vote - so why should we when it will affect so many people badly whatever agreement they reach - unless they eventually decide the status quo is the best so.ution.

Is that really the straw that desperate Remainers are clutching at? That they'll get their own way if no agreement can be reached?

What concerns me about it all is that the Brexit Team seem to have no idea what they wanted when they won, and don't seem to be overjoyed that they did win, albeit by a small majority. Of course, it is not a binding vote and the Government could overturn it but May is determined not to so so. Brexit means Brexit. Ok, PM May, I've got that message loud and clear. Now I want answers to this question. What exactly does Brexit mean for me an ordinary person living in the UK? At the moment they haven't a clue. And they haven't got anyone with the expertise to have a clue. I have a distinct feeling that over the next decade or three I am going to get fed up listening to them try to explain why this or that is better for us now we have voted out.
