As I made a mistake and posted in 'Brexit, power to the people' - here is Brexit4.

I know some of you don't like 'experts' or their opinions, but I do urge all to listen to this man again, from Liverpool University, calmly and expertly explaining what the single market is, and how it does work

Just read that they have a hotline to David Davis's office, whitewave.
Of course, it doesn't have to be answered.

Ana Mon 24-Oct-16 14:02:55

Why would anyone chat as their belly guides them? Unless they were hungry, I suppose...

rosesarered Mon 24-Oct-16 14:08:18

Another typo I think ww ( belly)

rosesarered Mon 24-Oct-16 14:09:51

Hope that May gives short shrift to Sturgeon.

rosesarered Mon 24-Oct-16 14:10:35

Oh, she has! David Davis and the hotline.

durhamjen Mon 24-Oct-16 14:23:34

"If the leaders agree, a new forum chaired by the Brexit secretary, David Davis, will be created, allowing the devolved nations to put forward proposals about how the UK's exit from the EU should be mananged before the official process is triggered next spring.
The meeting is due to be attended by Nicola Sturgeon, Carwyn Jones, Arlene Foster and Martin McGuinness."

I suppose there is nothing to stop them 'proposing things' but if they imagine they will get special treatment, then they will be sorely disappointed.

durhamjen Mon 24-Oct-16 14:34:15

How do you know, roses?
Are you in on it, too? Theresa May a special friend of yours?

rosesarered Mon 24-Oct-16 14:35:47

Just logic djen rather than emotion.

Jalima Mon 24-Oct-16 14:45:54

£5.99 - that's a better offer!
Thanks djen

Jalima Mon 24-Oct-16 14:52:35

I was wondering if David Davis was the boy of the same name whom I knew at school - always a bit of a rebel but charming with it grin
But no, the MP is younger than me (gosh) and went to a different school.

durhamjen Mon 24-Oct-16 16:04:51

Absolutely nothing logical about your comment, roses.

nigglynellie Mon 24-Oct-16 16:33:04

Judging by what ab has had to put up with we shouldn't be surprised at dj's relentless rudeness, but for sure it is tedious!!!

granjura Mon 24-Oct-16 16:33:50

Iam getting so fed up with people saying that 'they' never really said it, so here it is, again:

www.facebook.com/voteleave/videos/589611024549159/

Remainers never said lies like that- they gave interpretations of what may happen, call them warnings if you wish - project fear even ... but there is a massive difference between an interpretation of possible consequences ... and THAT.

Ana Mon 24-Oct-16 16:38:24

..£350 million we send to Brussels each week should be spent on OUR priorities, like the NHS.

Not just, the NHS, note! And we haven't even left the EU yet...

granjura Mon 24-Oct-16 16:47:07

Please, listen to her, she clearly says:

I suggest we spend it on the NHS

now how clear is that?

durhamjen Mon 24-Oct-16 17:02:35

Yes, granjura, she definitely said that.

durhamjen Mon 24-Oct-16 17:03:49

Excuse me, niggly, but that was quite rude.
I thought you were leaving this thread.

Ana Mon 24-Oct-16 17:18:48

SHE may have said that, but the words asking people to vote were those I quoted - OUR priorities, like the NHS.

Anyway, I thought it was the sign on the side of the bus that Remainers were obsessed with.

rosesarered Mon 24-Oct-16 17:20:36

niggly...... simply ignore it ( I know that I do.) wink

rosesarered Mon 24-Oct-16 17:22:27

Why the hell are posters on the Remain side still obsessing with 'words on buses' ?
It's all over!Move on.

Firecracker123 Mon 24-Oct-16 17:23:13

They are just nitpicking because they know they are powerless to stop Brexit happening.

granjura Mon 24-Oct-16 17:24:06

No, the leaflets given out also clearly said 'let's give the NHS the 350 m the EU takes every week' ...

it didn't say ' if we leave we could possibly consider giving the money on our priorities, like the NHS' that would have been fair. The above, and what Angela and Boris clearly said and wrote in the campaign- were pure, clear and intentional LIES meant to deceive.

You can ignore al you wish- the facts are there. And no-one here has been able or willing to spell out any 'lies' made by the remain campaign- after all this time of asking.

granjura Mon 24-Oct-16 17:24:55

If you call that kind of blatant and hugely important lies 'nitpicking' then I truly despair, sorry.

Ana Mon 24-Oct-16 17:27:54

The point is that no one knows what the money we are currently paying to the EU will be spent on when we stop paying it.

There's no point in all this 'he said, 'she said' 'you lot all said' rubbish because it can't possibly be decided yet! Give me strength...
