Plenty of immigrant doctors, teachers, engineers, other professionals . Not all from EU, surprise surprise. Not all just potato pickers.

All will be well in lala land..we will make a fortune selling jam and buy all our cars, trains, tractors etc from China.,.

Privatisation needs to stop also, which is another issue entirely.

Getting out of the EU will stop mass immigration. Lets face it, there weren't a lot of people coming over taking higher jobs huh.

Mass immigration has caused an almost slave labour mentality being borne in the affluent.

You mean the fat cats who are already making such a mess of privatised prison services and rail services and who are eyeing up the NHS? How will getting out of the EU stop that?

Cost?
It's cost us dearly over the last couple of decades to be in it.
Initially the EU will try anything to make us pay more.
To get out of it whatever the cost will be a blessing.

The normal working class person will have a job at a rate of pay that is just and right.

galexinda I don't know which country you live in, but hopefully, as we will guarantee EU workers already here with residence and medical aid, your chosen country will do the same.

Unfortunately all the experts on trade deal negotiations are saying that it can take many years to negotiate and conclude a trade deal. Of course, we might be able to negotiate faster but only at the expense of getting a poor deal because we will be desperate and the country we're negotiating with won't be.

It's looking more as if a) the income from taxes will be diminished as businesses relocate to Europe to take advantage of the single market and unemployment rises b) imports will be more expensive because of tariffs and c) huge sums of money will be going to business's which stay in the UK to compensate for the added expense of exporting to Europe.

As 'Brexit' has already cost the country about 20 year's worth of EU contributions propping up the pound after the Brexit vote and, we will have to continue making payments to the EU if we want to stay in the Single Market I'm completely at a loss to see where all this money for the NHS is going to come from.

DAY 6 as someone who lives in Germany I have to admit there is no sign of Germany not doing well. We are a long way off breaking point. We have a well functioning health system, a good school system, mostly enough teachers with degrees and plenty of work. There are so many jobs the vacances can't all be filled. And we are at peace with our neighbours

I know England well - I am english but i would not go back to live there at the moment. i would miss the standard of living I have got used to.
If you need a booster as to why the leavers will be Ok then you must find another reason than that the EU itself is breaking up.Its all NEWS and web news items looking for a cheap thrill.

The only problem there is that this government does not want to spend its money on the NHS, education and other public services. You might have seen that written on the side of a bus, but it was a con.

I live in the EU and as pensioners we will be affected by the Brexit especially regarding our residence status and access to medical care. However, my husband voted for the Brexit and I agree with his views that the UK needs to take back control of its borders and be able to provide health, education, welfare etc for the people who live there and have contributed to the system. The EU has become too big, admitted countries that cannot pay their way and totally mishandled the refugee situation over the past two years. I think more and more, including those who voted to remain, will appreciate the EU is now the EXTREMELY sick pup. It's in a state of flux. If it were a garment it would be falling apart at the seams. We are in for some interesting times as the EU disintegrates.

I for one am extremely happy we are leaving it. It's struggling. Look to France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Greece and Spain and the high levels of unrest, political upheaval and unemployment in many, many EU countries. Is it worth examining what's going on in abysmally poor Eastern European member countries? It's not a happy union, and most people, even lots of Remainers I know, appreciate that. It's on it's last legs.
