Perhaps they will follow JC's lifelong Parliamentary stance of voting with their conscience. I am of the opinion that MPs from constituencies with a strong Remain vote should support those constituents, if only to make the point that a good settlement needs to be hammered out. I am resigned though to Article 50 being triggered as I think they will have a Brexit majority.

I don't admire a man who applies the whip after voting against the party whip 428 times . He has to accept if MP's vote with their conscience and vote against they are just following his example

Labour MPs Daniel Zeichner (Cambridge) and Ben Bradshaw (Exeter) have also said they will vote against triggering Article 50. Both represent constituencies which voted Remain. In the case of Cambridge, over 71% voted Remain. I wonder if anything will happen to them.

The only consolation is that UKIP seem to be a party which doesn't agree amongst itself. The members seem to fall out at the drop of a hat.

If Nuttall wins, will he have to resign from being an MEP? Not that it really matters. His attendance has been 736th out of 756 MEPs. He'll be too busy making sure he doesn't get stabbed in the back to do anything for Stoke.

Whitewave, the leader of the Libs in Wales and Plaid Cymru are both female, they voted for Carwen for leader and in the Senydd he referred to them as the first ministers concubines. Needless to say Leanne blew a fuse , he had to apologise to the two women and to the assembly

Kirsty Williams is a brilliant Liberal Democrat who is quite prepared to work with others to help the people she has been elected to serve.
