This article in the Independent certainly gives food for thought, and puts things into perspective. It may explain a lot.

We could probably pin one of the new-fangled 'diagnoses' on him, as we do with naughty kids

Or we could go even further back and say it was down to witchcraft ExaltedWombat but generally most of us like to go forwards not backwards. "New-fangled", I imagine you are one of our very much older members!

Blinko Tue 31-Jan-17 10:50:19

I too fear that this man is mentally unstable. It looks as though little can be done whilst he maintains significant popular support. With such people in power, Heaven help us all. Worst case scenario, here we come....

Disgruntled Tue 31-Jan-17 10:27:35

He might implode.... but then.... Mike Pence..... groan. Hide.

ann "I am the greatest" grin

I don't think May can get rid of judges would it be Her Maj? Or is that another of her pretend powers?

MawBroon Tue 31-Jan-17 10:14:56

"Ours" = COURT. <sigh at predictive text>

MawBroon Tue 31-Jan-17 10:13:51

No, rosesarered , he is/was not her boss. She is a public servant and she is/was answerable to the American people.
If an Attorney-General cannot speak out on judicial matters what hope is there?
Do you think T May should sack the judges of the Supreme. Ours too?

annsixty Tue 31-Jan-17 10:13:24

When I saw the news item of him signing the order implementing the banning of certain people, I was filled with foreboding.
His expression and the jabbing with the pen was not the action of a sane man and his signature was so long I wondered what it said.

Anniebach Tue 31-Jan-17 10:04:28

Sacking people who disagree with him will cause his supporters to think he is a strong leader who is making sure they are all safe and all wealthier . The far right is in power in America now

rosesarered Tue 31-Jan-17 10:03:23

On the question of sacking, anyone who goes publicly against their boss gets it.
Of course, if he has a big sacking spree right left and centre, that may be different.

Anya Tue 31-Jan-17 10:03:12

grin

rosesarered Tue 31-Jan-17 10:01:18

I'll get my cheroot and poncho ready.

Anya Tue 31-Jan-17 09:59:29

America is in for a rough ride when the good, the bad and the ugly thrash it out.

Anya Tue 31-Jan-17 09:58:14

He can't keep sacking people though, can he? Won't this in itself raise the question of his sanity?

Anniebach Tue 31-Jan-17 09:52:12

As long as those who voted him in support him he is safe and they will keep supporting him as long as he co tinies his racists attacks. This is a country which still practised apartheid in the sixties

whitewave Tue 31-Jan-17 09:46:18

He'll just sack the judges. - job done grin

Anya Tue 31-Jan-17 09:33:21

It's all going to blow apart when some of his decisions are successfully challenged in the courts. Then we'll see exactly what he's like. Sooner or later he will blow up in public as he's said to do in private.

Iam64 Tue 31-Jan-17 09:14:16

It's very difficult not to be afraid with Mr T as Potus. The psychological / psychiatric assessments were well known during the campaign, alongside which some of his behaviour towards women was well publicised.
The division in the US is alarming. It's hopeful to see so many people protesting and standing up against him but we shouldn't forget he can sack anyone who disagrees with him, including attorney generals.
His unstable, aggressive, reactive personality makes us all less safe than we were. Anyone who is still saying things like 'give him a chance, all the hot air during the campaign is irrelevant" needs to look to history.

whitewave Tue 31-Jan-17 08:07:35

That should have read " they are all as mad as a box of frogs" sorry about typos

whitewave Tue 31-Jan-17 07:55:26

Oh that sounds like someone who believes in globalist eliticism there all as ,ad as a box of frogs.Their site makes entertaining reading grin

MawBroon Tue 31-Jan-17 07:39:17

Or this one?

From TreeOfLifeSword (sounds ominously Right wing /fundamentalist even from its name ?)

No. That was the prior president. We now have a President (Trump) who actually cares about the country and its people. The media and establishment would have people believe otherwise, but they are traitorous elites who care only about power over the citizenry not each citizens well being. I'm very happy with this president

<what hope is there>

MawBroon Mon 30-Jan-17 23:54:50

The comments chill me if anything even more jalima and explain why he was elected, do they not.
Like this one from a "susiewong"
What a desperate, mean, small, NWO newspaper you are. God bless President Trump, President Putin and all those who trust in God and protect their own country and people. And may àll those who seek to do otherwise suffer the penalty for high treason

Strangely appropriate name ? hmm? .

Ginny42 Mon 30-Jan-17 23:46:41

I note there's a petition to impeach Trump on the learningprogress site Nellie.

Jalima Mon 30-Jan-17 23:44:48

Has anyone read the comments at the bottom of MawBroon's link?
shock

Ginny42 Mon 30-Jan-17 23:42:30

And here are two of his advisers.
