Tara Palmer-Tomkinson dies

Sad news today, Tara apparently died from a brain tumour - she was only 45. In spite of her privileged life, she sometimes appeared unhappy and a bit lost. She seemed to have a great self deprecating sense of humour, very likeable. Sad for her family.

I'm not grief stricken but I did like her and I think it is rather sad.

Sad that any young woman with so much to live for should find life such a struggle. I enjoyed her column some years ago and found her very amusing. But like Rigoletto the "clown mask" or in her case witty persona hid a very troubled young woman.
I can't go along with what is it with these people and drugs but with 3 DDs close to her in age, just think there but for fortune.....
