I suppose many of us would see say the DM at one end of the political spectrum and the Guardian at the other. I read both, DM on line, Guardian in RL. I also sometimes read the Telegraph or the Times, occasionally the Daily Mirror on line. I never read the Express but enjoy the made headlines. "Diana murder - Arthritis cure instant " etc.
I also enjoy the New York Times and the Boston papers (since my introduction to the USA)
Honestly - the DM does some fairly interesting investigative stuff, so do the other papers. The DM also pedals fear, prejudice and hatred. It seems it always has done. It supported Hitler and opposed the UK giving shelter to Jews escaping the murderous Nazi's, even the children.
No change there then. The loathsome Piers Morgan is currently leading the Pro Trump line in the DM (along with the equally loathsome Katie Hopkins)
The Guardian and the Observer are in many people's eyes left leaning. Of course, my own view is they're proper newspapers who provide detailed articles by good journalists who don't always follow the same line. I don't always agree with their conclusions or analysis but at least I feel those are not just based on bias.
Thankyou and good evening.
