The buck stops where?

Leicester have sacked their manager Claudio Ranieri after a disastrous season which sees last year's football heroes facing relegation as a team
Labour lose a seat which they have held since 1935 to the Conservatives. Jeremy Corbyn is NOT likely to have to resign.
Does nobody else see the irony in this?

We only ever have one Labour Councillor at any one time - saves all the arguments grin

It's not just Labour who spend their time squabbling on local councils Jalima. We have a Conservative majority, a handful of LDs, one genuine Independent and a quite large NIMBY (aka Independent) contingent. They've spent millions on various aborted plans and legal advice to try and stop new housing being built in their back yards. Meanwhile, we have a desperate shortage of housing and have been ordered by government to build 10,000 new houses. They seem to spend so much time arguing that they don't have time for anything else. They've been so desperate to keep council tax down that we hardly have any services left. It's plummeted from being in the top ten places in the country to live (according to some list or other - Telegraph?) to number 35.

Errmmm...we don't even have any Labour councillors. I don't even get any leaflets through the door at election time. I think they've given up on us.

PS. Just remembered...there's a Labour town councillor, but that's because there were nine vacancies and only ten candidates, two of whom were Labour, so one of them was chosen automatically.

No, I didn't mean the Labour councillors squabbling - I meant all of them squabbling!
I don't think we're on the list grin
