ninny I was responding to a series of rude, semi-liberate and personal attacks by that person. I had held off because I didn't want to descend to that level, but, honestly (!) some people only understand if you speak their language.

I have no problem with her holding different views from myself, in fact I welcome a good discussion. But, sorry if my phraseology upset you ninny. There is just so much blatant stupidity a person can take.

And to say 'this SAAK person' is infinitely more polite than the posts from that SAAK person.

Personally for some reason I have always assumed that SAAK is a man fromm the tone of the posts.

I looked last night an, yes, May is still ahead. On the plus side, when I bought petrol yesterday in place of the usual Sun on a rack inside the garage was a free copy of our local paper saying 'Vote Labour on Thursday'. I did ask if it was due to me having a meltdown on seeing the Sun headlines in that very garage the week before and the lady behind the paper laughed and said that they put whatever newspaper they are told to on the rack each day but tend not to look at the 'gutter press headlines'. It amused me that said paper was on a rack paid for by the Sun. I do believe the tide is turning, but feel it is too late to stop the Conservatives winning.

How are the polls? Anyone seen? I think Mays still likely to win.

I admit Iam64 that I've been impressed by his quiet dignity, his ability to engage with the questions thrown at him honestly and his plain speaking. He's come a long way from the hard-line back-bencher and at last settled into his role as a leader.

GG2 re this SAAK person, I agree. Not only does one not have to answer her, but it's a waste of time even trying to engage, especially it seems later at night!

I hope you feel just as strongly about things SAAK when we have food shortages because there have not been enough people to pick and pack the crops. It us no good saying that UK people will do the job as the farmers cannot get them to do it - the reason they have a good relationship with EU immigrants who return to the same places every year. These people are doing valuable jobs and pay taxes to fund our NHS and schools.

In answer to the question, yes I do believe a Labour government would work positively to implement its manifesto. Prior to this election campaign, i commented negatively about Jeremy corbyn's leadership. During the campaign he's been a much more impressive potential PM than Theresa May. It isn't just that she's having a bad campaign, it's that Jeremy C is having a good one.
The manifesto is what we expect from the Labour Party.

You cannot answer this can you jen, no labour supporter can at this time. The party is more or less mute. I would have far more respect for you if you admitted this and decided that it should learn and reform with an honest view of what can be achieved rather than pie in sky.
