Just because you own a home in London doesn't make you affluent per se. Not if you are living in it! I live in innner London and it's strongly Labour/ remain. Not a wealthy borough, just very mixed demographically and culturally.

That's up to them. Some very wealthy people prefer to live in the UK rather than going to countries where they would pay less tax even now.

Its in the labour manifesto but they will not deliver this, that's the whole point in cutting off the source of cheap labour which is through getting out of the open door policy.

This has been voted purely to stop brexit. 10 years from now working class will still be in the same boat or less of one due to not stopping the influx of unnecessary labour.

I totally believe in and would support a good living wage. I am looking closely at the trial in Finland. I believe in Trade Unions to protect the welfare of workers and for businesses to have incentives to follow good employment law. I want a government to care about the lower paid not only by providing welfare but by boosting industry and business. I think this can all happen without Brexit. Leavers don't, so I am happy to agree to differ.

SAAK there is a theory called the Sensemaking Theory. It shows how people make sense of their experiences and explains they may get it wrong if they don't have sufficient relevant information.

You really don't seem to care whether your information is correct or sufficient you just churn out the sense you have made of it. Yes Kensington and Chelsea have gone Labour and at least some, if not most, of the people voting there will have insured they have the information they need before they conclude that they should vote that way. Penstemmon is that the trial of a living wage or a basic income? I find the idea of a basic income very interesting with the changes in work patterns.

If the 'working class' got up and fought for themselves, saak, joined unions, used their power to withdraw their labour and stopped voting for the party which keeps subservient perhaps they would achieve better wages and working conditions. It worked many years ago.

Instead they blame anyone but themselves, egged on by the right wing press.

Now the elite have used "tactics' to try to stop this.

I get your sentiment pen but how do you propose that un-needed labour will be haulted from coming in and keeping the wage as it is, which is untenable? How will that work?
