What will be left out/watered down! Not sure how they will explain it away as it's in the manifesto. Probably say something like "Brexit and all it's complications will mean that stuff will have to be shelved"
Fox hunting - out Triple lock - remains Social care - out
Going back to that report, I remember reading a few years back about an economic theory on varieties of capitalism. I under stood at the time that British economy was characterised by one type and Europe by another. I sort of stored it in my brain as "fancy that" and haven't really thought any more about it. But blow me if it wasn't outlined on MN. Apparently the European Model is being developed by the Labour Party. Thinking about what is being said by the shadow chancellor etc I can see now where they are coming from.
I will outline it on the Labour thread as it then gives people an idea about Labour economic policy.
That is disgusting! The people who caused such an upset with people losing their savings and they are literally earning millions. - no wonder they want to leave the EU so they do not need to publish the figures. It was said at the time that the top bankers - many of whom took risks - would not be the ones to suffer but it would be the working man with modest savings etc.
"Charing Cross is thought to be one of five London hospitals that the recent ‘Naylor report’ has claimed could be worth £1bn if sold. This report outlines the upcoming cuts which will see billions of pounds of land, property, and services sold to private firms with links to the government, leaving patients without emergency care."
What happens to the wards and operations etc - is there spare space at other localise hospitals? It is madness. They have sold so many assets - what happens when everything has gone?
Has she ever listened, whitewave? I suppose if we shout loudly enough she might change some things, like the NHS and giving council staff a decent payrise. She could still be writing bits of it to try and recover a bit of pride.
That was less than an hour ago, so it might have changed. However, there is going to be a landmark courtcase about it if May and the DUP reach an agreement as the Good Friday agreement depends on the government being impartial. Can't wait for tomorrow.
ww you are really getting hot under the collar ( must be the heatwave) Yes, QS on Wed , there will be a DUP agreement so I have heard, ( why not, as both sides want it.)So back to running the country.....and about time.
Statement by NHS Property Services "The decision as to whether one of our properties is surplus to NHS operational requirements resides with the commissioners, i.e. NHS England or a clinical commissioning group (CCG). A property will only be released for disposal by NHS Property Services once commissioners have confirmed that it is no longer required for the delivery of NHS services."
