Former leadership rival Owen Smith appointed to Shadow Northern Ireland Secretary in Jeremy Corbyn’s reshuffle

Announcing the changes to his Shadow Cabinet, Mr Corbyn said: “I am delighted to announce four appointments to fill shadow cabinet vacancies. I look forward to working with the strengthened shadow cabinet as we prepare a government in waiting to carry out our manifesto for the many not the few.

Primrose, glad to see you are back. Could you now answer Rigby's question as to why aggressive begging is left wing, please?

whitewave Sat 15-Jul-17 10:16:25

rose But you miss the point as usual. If you give off the cuff opinions which you generally do, nothing wrong in that, but if they aren't evidence based then you can expect someone to challenge you for why that remark was made.

That is why rig was perfectly entitled to challenge the assertion that Canada is too left wing and the reasons given by the poster.

Primrose65 Sat 15-Jul-17 10:18:03

devongirl WTF?

whitewave Sat 15-Jul-17 10:18:25

I would be interested to know which period the poster was living in Canada in order to assess whether I agree with her statement or not.

whitewave Sat 15-Jul-17 10:18:44

Oh dear

Jalima1108 Sat 15-Jul-17 10:20:38

Eloethan that is a good summing up.

The EU has not got a grip on the refugee/migrant problem as shown in the way Italy is now struggling too with the influx of people who see the EU countries as the road to a better future for them.

In the meantime, China is rebuilding 'The Silk Road' with Government money earned from the need - or greed - of the West for more and cheaper goods.

Primrose65 Sat 15-Jul-17 10:21:02

WW Sure.
But no one else justifies their off the cuff opinions. I'm perfectly entitled to challenge the opinion that Canada is happy and good, using personal experience.
No evidence from GG2 that Canada is happy and good. But that's fine, isn't it?

Jalima1108 Sat 15-Jul-17 10:22:16

But whitewave, politeness could elicit an answer whereas calling people ridiculous because you do not agree with what they say may not.

Jalima1108 Sat 15-Jul-17 10:25:55

If you give off the cuff opinions which you generally do, nothing wrong in that, but if they aren't evidence based
A lot of 'evidence based opinions' on threads are based on other people's opinions and not on actual experience.

Even so-called 'experts' are having to back-track, apologise when events prove their sound theories wrong.

GracesGranMK2 Sat 15-Jul-17 10:27:49

I have said on many occasions that I saw faults in the EU as have many others. I think you would go a long way to find anyone who proclaimed they are as adamant in its rightness as are those who voted to leave are uncompromising in it's wrongness.

rosesarered Sat 15-Jul-17 10:31:40

grin Exactly Jalima I was about to say much the same thing.

GracesGranMK2 Sat 15-Jul-17 10:35:19

RAR isn't attacking Rigby, Rigby and whitewave; it is her 'on arrival' attack on me. It's such a pathetic cliché now it's not worth taking any notice.

whitewave Sat 15-Jul-17 10:39:17

So primrose can I ask you politely once again in which period were you living in Canada?

Mind you there is rudeness and there are down right insults. I think calling someone a liar is a down right insult. Especially when they have neither the grace nor back bone to apologise.

jalima you didn't finish the quote from my post.

rosesarered Sat 15-Jul-17 10:41:19

Rigby, Rigby and Whitewave ( solicitors?)

Go back and read your posts GGM2 ....... nice, aren't they?

whitewave Sat 15-Jul-17 10:43:16

Much better than *primroses who accuses people of lying.

Jalima1108 Sat 15-Jul-17 10:45:35

jalima you didn't finish the quote from my post
sorry, cut and pasted and didn't check

Sometimes I have highlighted something to delete it and found I deleted the whole paragraph preceding it and left the wrong bit in.

GracesGranMK2 Sat 15-Jul-17 10:50:10

What was the whole quote please - just to understand your argument Jalima.

Ilovecheese Sat 15-Jul-17 11:53:24

I don't understand why aggressive begging is left wing either

whitewave Sat 15-Jul-17 12:26:32

Neither does primrose just thought it sounded good.

Ana Sat 15-Jul-17 12:51:02

How do you know that, whitewave?

Primrose65 Sat 15-Jul-17 12:56:43

I've tried clarifying once, I'll try again in a different way.

these social-democratic countries have decided is a good and happy way to run their countries

Left wing is just one point. Good and happy are other points. 3 points made in the original post. 3 points made in the reply.

Sorry if I forgot to label everything showing which part of my reply to a post references different points made in the previous post. I didn't realise it was so confusing.

But let's not talk about politics here - let's just analyse my posts to death.

Next?

rosesarered Sat 15-Jul-17 13:05:42

grin

Rigby46 Sat 15-Jul-17 13:21:31

No not next -why is aggressive begging left wing?

GracesGranMK2 Sat 15-Jul-17 13:21:52

YOU are complaining that people are analysing your posts to death Primrose, while asking for an explanation of the meaning of the words 'good' and 'happy' in the context of countries consistently voting for the same political stance from their government? Word don't fail me but they are not repeatable on here.

You don't even seem to understand the difference between 'left-wing' and social democratic so I expect we are on a hiding to nothing trying with 'happy' and 'good'.

Do, please stop your goading as, when you look at what you are asking, that is all it can be.

(Waiting elsewhere, doing other things while St RAR prepares to strike again.)
