EXCLUSIVE: New CCTV footage reveals Jeremy Corbyn told truth about 'Traingate'

I think someone owes Corbyn an apology. It won't happen of course but at least this may balance the story the owners of the news wanted us to hear.

lemongrove Fri 25-Aug-17 20:00:23

Your posts are so silly GG that they are delightful.?

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 20:00:25

Perhaps I have lemongrove.

lemongrove Fri 25-Aug-17 20:01:03

Are you perhaps on Team Corbyn?

lemongrove Fri 25-Aug-17 20:02:08

Ironing and irony Baggs ?

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 20:03:01

Why are we moving to a lack of democracy, can't see that at all.

I doubt those supporting a party moving in that direction have ever been able to lemongrove.

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 20:04:35

Are you perhaps on Team Corbyn?

I thought GNHQ had banned that sort of question!?

Baggs Fri 25-Aug-17 20:04:41

Yep. Saying ironing instead of irony is a wee joke of mine, lem ??

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 20:05:53

You must be very new lemongrove as I have said where I stand so often but that has been when I have chosen to do so.

loopyloo Fri 25-Aug-17 20:07:02

Thanks ,Lemongrove. Now I understand why traingate was orchestrated by Corbyn and co.

lemongrove Fri 25-Aug-17 20:07:35

And the proof of this supposed lack of democracy is?
No, anybody who has never lived under a dictatorship says all sorts of nonsense about our political system, but the truth is that we are free every five years to boot out or vote in whichever of the two political parties that we support.Same with our councils.

Anniebach Fri 25-Aug-17 20:08:38

I do not have anti Corbyn mania, but if I had to choose then thinking of the defence put forward by those with Corbyn mania I will settle for the former

lemongrove Fri 25-Aug-17 20:09:00

And a very good one too Baggs if I may say so.?

lemongrove Fri 25-Aug-17 20:10:49

Annie any sane person would have anti-Corbyn mania, so don't worry about it.

durhamjen Fri 25-Aug-17 20:15:30

Anniebach, I don't need to google to find out about workhouses.
One of my relatives was a teacher in a union workhouse, and there is a union workhouse in this village, so my grandson and I looked at workhouses and what they were for and when they existed.
There were workhouses from the 1300s. There was a workhouse law in 1601, Act for the relief of the poor.
Believe it or not, they had the deserving and undeserving poor then, too.
Able-bodied poor had to work in workhouses.

How strange it is that this 'new evidence' about Traingate hasn't been reported in any of the national press. No doubt we'll get a ink to some obscure Labour site soon...

gg You just post the same thing all the time. [yawn]

Originality is obviously not a concept well known to you!

lemongrove Fri 25-Aug-17 20:31:03

GG is clearly a member of 'stuffy posts r us' it seems to be be an expanding group on some forums.

Primrose65 Fri 25-Aug-17 20:37:10

lemongrove grin
The stuffy I have immunity to, with a couple of glasses of wine
The repetition drives me mad. It's like living in a bad version of Groundhog Day.

Chewbacca Fri 25-Aug-17 20:44:15

I can't understand why anyone would board a train with their partner and walk past several empty, available seats; partner sits in one of the seats; man goes to end of carriage and sits on the floor to read a newspaper whilst conveniently having a camera man to video him doing so. After 15 minutes, with no train station stops having occurred since the couple got on, man gets up off the floor and goes to sit next to partner.

This leads me to conclude:
a) Man is besotted with partner and cannot bear to be separated from her (unless he is seated on the floor.)
b) The couple had had an argument immediately prior to boarding the train and the man was so pissed off that he stomped off and sat on the floor to sulk, before coming to his senses (15 minutes later) and joined his partner.
c) The scenario was staged for some reason i.e. an amateur dramatics production or they were filming a commercial for haemorrold cream on the perils of sitting on cold floors when your in your 50s
d) Someone was trying to set a scene for a different reason.

Hmmmmm! Which is the most plausible I ask myself? hmm

lemongrove Fri 25-Aug-17 20:47:49

?cheers Primrose and Chewbacca there are a few like minded people still left in the world.

Chewbacca Fri 25-Aug-17 20:48:07

And I've no idea what haemorrold cream is either. Its existence is as baffling as grown men choosing to sit on dirty train floors instead of sitting on a seat.
