EXCLUSIVE: New CCTV footage reveals Jeremy Corbyn told truth about 'Traingate'

I think someone owes Corbyn an apology. It won't happen of course but at least this may balance the story the owners of the news wanted us to hear.

lemongrove Fri 25-Aug-17 19:33:57

I am not a johnnie come lately either, neither did I just come down in the last shower of rain.Neither did most of the polulace, therefore anyone who denies Traingate was a PR stunt and a very obvious one at that, isn't displaying much intelligence.

Anniebach Fri 25-Aug-17 19:35:08

Jen I have no idea where your political allegiance lies but your posts are so like the shouts I use to hear from the commies when they gathered on street corners , they defended Russia as you defend Venezuela

durhamjen Fri 25-Aug-17 19:37:52

Annie, you have no idea how your obsession with Corbyn is turning you into a most unpleasant know-all.

There were workhouses before there were Whigs, by the way, and 200 years before the poor law amendments act.

Why do you not feel some compassion for those people who have died because they have had their benefits cut?
You don't show it on here. You are just too busy trying to score points against socialists.

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 19:39:14

Slightly worrying about the history you were taught if you think the Conservatives of today were the same as the pre 1834 Tories.

durhamjen Fri 25-Aug-17 19:40:02

Lemongrove, Annie called me a Johnny come lately in the labour party, even though I joined when I got the vote. She's probably a few years older than me, but never mind, that's probably what she means.

Anniebach Fri 25-Aug-17 19:42:09

lemongrove. He chooses not to pre book seats in full knowledge of that line , sits alone , does his speech filmed by ,his video maker , next day it seems he meant he wanted to sit with the third Mrs Corbyn, who for some reason wasn't sitting in the same area, then we learn it was himself, the third Mrs Corbyn and his staff , not one sitting near him, either it was staged for him to be centre stage or he has B.O.

loopyloo Fri 25-Aug-17 19:43:00

This is like watching gladiators fight. It shows up the clear division in the labour party.

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 19:43:53

^ therefore anyone who denies Traingate was a PR stunt and a very obvious one at that, isn't displaying much intelligence.^

But if they are not making things up. You do not know lemongrove. Everyone who has been interviewed appears to agree with the Corbyn group on the train and these withnesses are many and varied and you really cannot believe they all said it to support Corbyn - they were annoyed with the lack of seats. The only people with a different story are the train company who had to be compelled to release the film which shows that what the witnesses said was true.

Of course - not being there you know better than all of them.

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 19:45:21

Annie is not supporting Labour loopyloo. She is working for another party.

Anniebach Fri 25-Aug-17 19:46:11

Been googling Jen ? Try again , there were no workhouses in 1634

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 19:46:36

Heaven help us if lemongrove is ever on a jury.

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 19:47:34

Are you saying the Conservatives existed in 1634 AB?

Anniebach Fri 25-Aug-17 19:48:26

There is a serious division in the Labour Party loopyloo , socialists v communists , i am a socialist !

durhamjen Fri 25-Aug-17 19:48:29

Whigs and Tories were all landed gentry then, the only ones allowed to vote, weren't they GracesGran?

Anniebach Fri 25-Aug-17 19:48:57

No GG. , Jen is

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 19:50:29

I don't think so. Where does she say that?

lemongrove Fri 25-Aug-17 19:53:07

They didn't book seats, I wonder why? They would like to nationalise the railways and want the railways to be shown in the worst possible light therefore.Would the situation be better if nationalised? I very much doubt it, things were privatised in the past to try and make them better after all.
So, they jumped on a train to show how bad things can be if you have no pre booked seats. With inevitable results.End of story. It also sit well with showing Corbyn as a 'man of the people' sitting, uncomplaining on a train floor.

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 19:53:46

At that stage Tories were not Conservatives Jen and you are right, we wouldn't recognise the politics and the lack of democracy if we were back then - a bit like what the Conservative (now colloquial called Tories after the old Tory party) seem to be moving us towards now.

lemongrove Fri 25-Aug-17 19:56:47

Although it made a lot of people laugh at the sheer absurdity .
Would Gordon Brown have sat on a train floor, and not booked seats? Would anybody in a senior political role?

Baggs Fri 25-Aug-17 19:56:56

"turning you into a most unpleasant know-all"

Oh, the ironing!

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 19:56:56

It doesn't matter why they didn't book the seats - who knows. You certainly don't; you are making it up as you go along to suit your prejudice (opinion not based on fact).

We have the witness statements and now the film but still you are trying to prove that what you want to believe must be right regardless lemongrove. As I say, I hope you are never on a jury. Never mind the evidence it is just your prejudice that has to be right.

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 19:58:01

I would have stopped at unpleasant personally because that is what AB turn any thread into with her anti-Corbyn mania.

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 19:58:38

Ironing? Probably a better use of our time.

lemongrove Fri 25-Aug-17 19:59:26

Why are we moving to a lack of democracy, can't see that at all.
Perhaps you should try living in a country that really doesn't have democracy so that you can see the difference GG

GracesGranMK2 Fri 25-Aug-17 19:59:48

Would Gordon Brown have sat on a train floor, and not booked seats? Would anybody in a senior political role?

None of these silly comments make you right lemongrove.
