He maintains that the ECJ jurisdiction will prevail throughout the period
Citizens first.
The UK must come up with concrete proposals with regard to payment after 2020
Ireland must be a priority.

He is looking forward to hearing what we actually want our relationship to be post Brexit

No, Germany does not want us out, that report is simply talking to a few voters there, and who cares what they think.
Germany will want a good deal for itself and the EU, those cars don't sell themselves you know.
The EU needs our money, they will be pragmatic.

Small overall percentage of their cars are sold in UK and generally sales are falling anyway.
We went to the local Sainsbury store this morning and it was noticeable how many car parking spaces there were empty and how easy it was to walk around the store and get a table in the café - huge difference since last May when I was there. It looks as if people are spending less.

Germany has still got plenty of buyers for its cars, washing machines, machinery, tractors, pharmaceuticals and lots of other stuff. German productivity much higher than uk. We'll still buy their stuff cos we don't make much any more. We'll just pay more for it.

I find it very strange that someone who doesn't care what anyone thinks is even bothering posting on political threads, whitewave. What do you think?

Welshwife depends where you live, and how depressed or buoyant it is, our local Sainsbury was as crammed as ever this morning, with a parking space hard to find.

I don't not care about what anyone thinks, but I don't care about what everyone thinks, that's the difference.
A person could go crazy listening to every comment,reading every tweet, utterance and so on for the next two years solid.
I am not stopping anybody else from doing so, but can tell from some posts that anxiety levels and blood pressure are high.

May well be the largest export but still not a huge percentage of the whole. As susied says those who wish to buy them will still do so if they are willing to pay the higher price. Not many people actually buy them anyway now they are leased just by another name. When we came to buy our present car the salesman had to check how we could pay because it was so long since he had actually SOLD a car!!

Yes I saw that - but unsure of the point of the debate - we will presumably continue to import German cars.

People who buy Mercs and BMWs will still buy them just be paying more for them. We don't make that type of car here. interestingly the huge machines that dig out tunnels like crossrail are made in Germany , we'd still have to buy them as one M Thatcher got rid of British manufacturing.

Off topic I know but I was thinking tonight that Farage wants to turn people against the Germany of today and yet is going to Germany trying to promote the extreme right wing of the German political parties in an attempt to turn Germany back into the sort of nation that we had genuine reason to be afraid of. A sort of self fulfilling prophesy.

And yet another concern for the eu.
Andrej Babis looks likely to win the Czech Republic election next month.
He has taken a strong line against what he sees as the European Unions ever growning grasp of power.
I believe this is one of the reasons the eu is determined to make Brexit as difficult as possible.
