You believe that everything to do with Momentum ,Corbyn, McDonnell is wonderful and so do a lot of other posters.

I think you could open a can of worms , AGAIN, regarding the recent issues with Labour and Anti Semitism it was a rather ironic comment.

Why do you think you should decide what and where posters should think, say or do? There are plenty of threads on the ALL things Tory and if anybody wants to join in they are free to do so .

On Human Rights day perhaps we might remember that a policy (not a personality) brought about by the right is not just political chaos, although it is certainly that.

It comes down to what your DH said Fennel. Supporting the right, the Tories, the Conservatives, means you supports a party that has deliberately brought about a humanitarian crisis where, while the rich get richer they are making the poor poorer.

Whatever you think of one man, one movement, if you have ever thought you had a social conscience surely you should be backing the party which is pledged to bring about more equality, more care of the vulnerable who have been put, because of the way the right thinks, at risk of hunger and homelessness this Christmas. The roll-out of Universal Credit has continued in spite of all the evidence of the damage it is doing because the right believe the policy is worth the suffering it brings about.

No difference in a three bedroomed terrace to a row of council houses, you said you include yourself in the young people who will never be able to afford a deposit. So what you and this MP mean is you will never be able to afford the deposit of a £265,000 house , so sad .

By the time I was 30, I was living in the fourth house we'd bought, a four bedroomed semi dormer bungalow. Very nice it was, too.
Only needed my husband's salary to pay the mortgage, too; I was at college doing a degree, with a grant and fees paid for me, two children at school.

gg I have totally given up after the ridiculous posts yesterday. The right simple stands on their box spouting nonsense without being prepared to take part in a rational debate. All I ever get is the same mantra repeated ad nauseum, or a statement answered with yet more questions rather than actually addressing what I am saying with a rational argument.

I've been looking back at this thread and noticed how I've repeated myself a few times.
I told husband about it earlier and he said it's all to do with money. (By 'it' I mean the fear of Momentum etc.)
The rich are afraid that if the other side takes over they'll lose all their money. Also communist countries want their currencies to replace the dollar.

Ignoring the Whataboutery, I still cannot see any positive comments about the Tory party either on here or on any other thread with a different title.

The threads created to attack others are simply because there is nothing good to say about the government. Those views are right-wing (sometimes extreme right) so anyone who is supporting the fact that they are doing what they are doing is, in my view, and for simple shorthand, a right-winger. It doesn't matter if you are a member of that party, another party, or no party, if you are supporting what the Conservatives stand for you have right-wing views.

Just, for once, put forward what that is. I know papers like the Mail plough huge sums into trying to get and keep them in power but they so often go for the standard gutter-press propaganda which - like premasticated food - is easy to absorb but pretty disgusting.

It uses the old ideas of painting the opposition negatively - just as some very unsavoury groups have in the past, with the hook nosed Jew, etc. Now we have the pictures of Corbyn 'supporting' those many would see as attacking 'our values' just as those posters were supposed to convey. They dip down into personal attacks on those with left of centre views, just as the right has always done and any attempt to a) tell the truth or b) say why they are a better bet to govern, disappears. This treats those who agree politically with what the LP is currently says in the same way the underclass that the Jews became, were treated. The idea is to paint someone like Corbyn in such a blackened way that no one would want to be associated with him. It is not working. Thankfully most of the young do not read such trash.

The only way to present the Tory message in a good light - if it has one - is to put it out there and let it be discussed. How refreshing it would be to hear the actual views the right hold rather than just the denigration of a person.

Expect his close friend Galloway will be brought in if/when Corbyn is in No 10, gosh they will be squashed in there . The three can run the country and Corbyn can sit in the rose garden contemplating his navel or if it's raining watch gogglebox .

The commission set up by May does not seem to be doing its job properly.
Half the families made homeless by the Grenfell fire will be in temporary accommodation for Christmas.

A Tory think tank today sent a message to say that they had sandwiches left over from their lunch so any foodbank nearby could go and pick them up.

I thought mine was fairly positive compared to the general attitude of negativity on the political threads about Brexit, the Government, Boris - in fact everything the Conservatives do.

I agree with you, dbDB77 that McDonnell is "appalling, cruel, rude, ingracious or personally combative." - a very apt description which does not fit Theresa May in the slightest.

There are many good Labour MPs but he is not one of them and I know people who would return to voting Labour were he (and probably Corbyn too) were put out to grass, sorry, returned to the back benches.
Labour would most certainly win the next election if that happened and the nastiness of the likes of McDonnell was stamped out.

Negative? I don't think so.

So the right should remember Corbyn was going to bring gentler politics, shame he forgot, I expect hm to forget many more promises if/when he gains power,
