Dear Gransnetters
I am making a sincere request for any ideas and policies you think might help me and my government cling on to power keep the country on a strong and stable path. We are willing to consider anything. Sajid has already launched a housing idea, Michael is busy searching through Jeremy's bins for cast offs and Boris has promised to keep his nose out of things is focussing on foreign policy. But I am sure some of you have really good ideas. Don't worry about u-turns I am willing to swivel 360% and more if it will keep me in power is in the country's interests. So please send them to me. Desperately Seeking Solutions Theresa @No.10

Thousands of them?
Perhaps you should just tell him to be honest about it and own up?
I'm sure his seat is safe enough for him to weather the storm.

durhamjen Fri 01-Dec-17 10:56:08

I think you need to have a policy of all tory MPs to be in the commons chamber whenever they are on TV.
Otherwise we'll all be thinking the worst of them.

durhamjen Fri 01-Dec-17 11:04:04

Andrew Mitchell has just said there is no real proof that it was your friend Damian, just on the balance of probability.
Can you find a suitable hacker who will admit to having sent them?

durhamjen Fri 01-Dec-17 12:30:24

Has David Davis found his get out of jail free card?
He's threatened to resign if Damian is sacked.

Your answer to that, Theresa?

durhamjen Wed 06-Dec-17 17:06:20

Well, Theresa, you appear to have given up now, or gone into hiding.

Any ideas about David Davis now?
How about asking him to give impact assessments or analyses?

Smithy Wed 06-Dec-17 17:51:15

Well Theresa indeed, I just don't know how you are all getting away with the shocking way you are all behaving - would any other country put up with you all!

durhamjen Wed 06-Dec-17 19:14:11

Actually, I think Theresa put the three Brexiteers in charge on purpose, knowing they would not be able to agree, and would make a mess of things.
Am I right, Theresa?

FarNorth Wed 06-Dec-17 19:54:30

It's lucky no-one believed all that "strong and stable" stuff. How let down we'd be feeling now, wouldn't we.

I expect Theresa is too busy screaming into a cushion to get back to us GNers.

mostlyharmless Wed 06-Dec-17 20:10:31

Theresa, please take the blindfold off and look around you. And listen to people.

durhamjen Wed 06-Dec-17 21:23:47

Theresa always listens, mostlyharmless. At least that's what she always tells us.
Do you think she's telling lies?
I know that's unparliamentary language. Luckily, I am not an MP.

trisher Sat 09-Dec-17 11:25:40

Well I did it!!!! A signed agreement 15 pages long! Of course some things are still undecided flexible and there is a long way to go, but we are now entering Stage 2 of the negotiations and I am still PM!!! Well done ME! Philip, Michael and BoJo are seething they thought I was done for. They should know that if there is one thing you learn as a vicar's daughter it is patience. Those sermons go on for ever. (Any rumours that there are some in certain committees who think I have sold out and are plotting to displace me are entirely unfounded. Or I hope they are)

mostlyharmless Sat 09-Dec-17 18:38:37

Well done Theresa. You seem to have (deliberately or accidentally) managed to outmanoeuvre the more rabid hard Brexiteers with the help of your "friend" Arlene.
A soft Brexit sounds so much more comfortable.

Just keep looking over your shoulder, especially at that ambitious Michael (backstabber) Gove.

trisher Mon 11-Dec-17 10:36:45

I had a great idea to solve the NHS problem last night. I caught a glimpse of the film - The Marigold Hotel one, and I thought Eureka! That's it! Ship all the pensioners off to India. Drugs bill cut, operation theatres emptied, GP surgeries empty. Then hubbie pointed out that the pensioners are my main support base, so I've shelved it for now. But if Michael G stages a coup I shall introduce it before I step down. And then let's see if he can win an election!!!!

JessM Mon 11-Dec-17 17:30:29

Theresa my dear, that David chap is really becoming part of the problem instead of part of the solution. Once you've shaken hands with someone you don't need one of your team running round saying that you might not have really meant it (or maybe implying that a future leader might renege on what has been agreed?). This is not at all good for the next stage of the Brexit negotiations. I know he'd be a pain in the derriere on the back benches but surely he's not doing more harm by staying in post? I know he has a certain debonaire charm but it's no longer enough. Time to find a more competent and supportive replacement.

durhamjen Mon 11-Dec-17 18:46:49

Talking about the NHS problem, it would be good if you could tell Hunt he needs to have that debate with Ralph Little.
It would be so entertaining over Christmas. It might take our minds off the problems of the NHS, to see Hunt skewered.

trisher Mon 11-Dec-17 18:56:49

JessM If only I could find a more competent and supportive replacement. David would be out before you could say Christmas. But didn't you notice the replacement for Priti was Penny Mordaunt- scraping the barrel or what?!
durhamjen There are quite a few people I would like to see skewered and the list is geting longer everyday.

durhamjen Mon 11-Dec-17 19:01:56

Does it include this person?
Obviously it does, from your response.
So I double dare you to!

durhamjen Mon 11-Dec-17 20:59:18

Theresa, can you please tell Hunt to stop privatising the NHS?
I've asked you if you'll do thiss a few times. I don't think you are taking any notice of me, are you?

JessM Mon 11-Dec-17 21:53:48

Theresa why is it I'm getting the feeling that this country has been going backwards for the last 6 years or so? Struggling to think of much that has got better...

trisher Tue 12-Dec-17 11:02:31

Mmm JessM if that is true how long do you think it will take to get back to the Golden Years? (When I will be the New Iron Lady and not Trembling Theresa)
dj I have discussed this with Jeremy and he assures me that the NHS is entirely safe in his hands. He and hubbie have been having very long chats about it.
Have you noticed how successful my agreement has been? Accusations of internet porn, lying to Parliament, no impact reports, it has all slipped into the background (Thank you God!)

durhamjen Tue 12-Dec-17 15:48:13

Not true about the internet porn, though.

www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/dec/12/damian-green-inquiry-influence-daily-mail-article-kate-maltby

Still ongoing.

FarNorth Tue 12-Dec-17 21:53:33

Oh, dj, you wet blanket. No-one with any sense reads the Guardian anyway.
Don't worry, Theresa, you're doing very well.

durhamjen Tue 12-Dec-17 22:14:24

And there I have been reading the Guardian, the i, the Mail and the Sun with my grandson, comparing articles to show what the different styles are.
Have we been wasting our time?
Actually, today it was online about school closures yesterday, and guess which ones were positive and which negative. His own words, too.

I won't tell him what you said, FarNorth. He gets upset very easily.
Mind, he understood the political cracker jokes on Daily Politics today.
Maybe I read too many newspapers with him? No more Sun or Mail.

durhamjen Fri 15-Dec-17 16:37:48

Please, Theresa, can we have a New Year's Resolution from you, to not tell fibs at PMQs.

voxpoliticalonline.com/2017/12/15/theresa-may-is-a-serial-liar-about-homelessness-and-must-now-face-an-investigation/

You know you do, so don't pretend otherwise.
Why does your spad get paid £140,000 a year when he makes so many mistakes?

durhamjen Sun 17-Dec-17 00:36:08

Nice one, Theresa. Can you explain the thinking behind this?

evolvepolitics.com/theresa-may-scoffed-lobster-at-secret-50k-head-banquet-hours-after-freezing-benefits-for-millions-of-brits/

Can you give us a list of these secret donors?
