I won't 'lighten up' either.
FGS this is NOT about flirting or catcalling. This is about people with power abusing it for sexual gratification. It's mainly men, but not exclusively and their targets are men and women.
If MF has resigned after only one incident 20 years ago (the AL incident was revealed after the resignation), just how many more women is he worried about? The government cannot afford this kind of bad press, so it must be bad enough.
To those of you making excuses for this kind of behaviour I would like you to consider how you would feel if your granddaughter in her first real job was touched up by her manager, perhaps old enough to be her father or grandfather?
Some of the accusations in the media are very serious involving rape and drugged drinks. To those of you saying people are jumping on the bandwagon, many of men and women responding with the less serious allegations to the #MeToo campaign may be sharing their experiences for the first time, too scared, too ashamed, etc. to say something before now.
Lazigirl yes, women can definitely be their own worst enemy.
