Priti Patel is one of those people who have overwheening ambition and are always over confident, They are usually very clever but completely lacking in intelligence.

The only consolation is that sooner or later their ambition and over confidence leads to them falling over their own feet and they rarely rise again.

I can only think of one exception to the non-recover and that is Jeffrey Archer
