Hope this is not “fake news” but relief from the endless speculation.
Good luck to them! ??

Whatever some people think, I expect all there will be thrilled to see them both
And the charity (whichever it is) will benefit from the publicity whether he brings a fat cheque in person or not.

Well, they could just swan off on holiday like those two princesses seem to do all the time (thank goodness we're not paying for them)

gillybob Fri 01-Dec-17 09:38:38

They won't scrimp on exotic holidays that's for sure Jalima . I mean they're just a normal couple after all.

I would like to think the young royals realise how very privileged they are compared with the rest of the population who have no choice but to work very hard for most of their life, and struggle to get on the housing ladder at all.

Personally I suspect they probably don't give a monkeys toot .

I think as they are such great ambassadors and promoters of charities they should put tickets for the wedding and reception up for auction and donate all the proceeds to charity. Family could have free entrance because it would up the value of the tickets if all the RF are there.

She admits she likes travel, but it's usually tied in with humanitarian work.
They are both ambassadors for Global Citizen - Citizens of nowhere , as May called them.
Could this be why they are going to Nottingham?

Welcome distraction to some people from Brexit shambles?

aggie Fri 01-Dec-17 11:20:17

I am appalled at the bad manners of the Good Morning reporter , yelling and screeching like a demented dervish , my DGD is called Megan and would refuse to look at anyone yelling "Megs" at her , how rude !

Anniebach Fri 01-Dec-17 11:25:43

Wish they would control their need to rub each other in public

NotTooOld Fri 01-Dec-17 11:31:19

dj grin

Anniebach grin grin

durhamjen Fri 01-Dec-17 11:33:32

What an inspirational idea - how sad there is a need for it! Thanks for the link DJ.

NotTooOld Fri 01-Dec-17 15:13:37

Sorry, dj. I'm feeling a bit light hearted today as I've just heard my very poorly grandson is a little better.

NotTooOld Fri 01-Dec-17 15:14:41

PS, dj. Yes, I've read about those vending machines and I think it's a great idea.

Anniebach Fri 01-Dec-17 15:20:35

Thats good news NotToOld, let's hope and pray he makes a complete recovery x

NotTooOld Fri 01-Dec-17 15:25:44

Thank you, Annie. x

durhamjen Fri 01-Dec-17 15:26:43

That's okay, NotTooOld. I am pleased your grandson is a little better, and hope he continues to improve.

Yes, it is a great idea, but as Ginny said, it's a shame they are needed. I often wondered how the homeless coped when everything was closed. I assume they have to be very selective with the machines, as they only have three uses a day. The homeless quandary between eating and heating, heating being an extra pair of socks or gloves.

NotTooOld Fri 01-Dec-17 15:45:56

Thanks, dj. x

Anniebach Fri 01-Dec-17 15:48:31

I thought Megan was rather scruffy this morning , there is casual and too casual , first things first though, hands off in public please, unless the back rubbing was because they both have lumbago

NotTooOld Fri 01-Dec-17 16:07:04

Annie grin again. Are you getting a thing about this rubbing that goes on?

I was surprised she didn't wear a hat but as a hat hater myself, I don't blame her at all. I wonder if she'll have to change all this modern casualness before the wedding. I bet the Palace mafia are already writing memos.

Anniebach Fri 01-Dec-17 16:16:12

Ok I am picky, but as much as I do not want comparisons between Megan and Kate as we did with Kate and Diana , I do think if the public turn out to greet the windsors they don't dress as if they have popped out for a pint of milk , the windsors not the public ? and the constant touchy, touchy was irritating, doubt the palace mafia will be allowed to say anything, he is so besotted he would get rather cross
