I thought I had put another post on but it seems to have disappeared. I put in the OP I would really like the fact about how this fits with the EU because I would really like to know how it works for the countries that are in it rather than just how it works. It is probably time for me to read more of my copy of Viking Economics; there may be some information there.

Paywalled, Jalima

If you have the title of the article it might be possible to access it through google

It's the European Economic Area (EEA) and it is, I believe, slightly different from the European Free Trade Area (EFTA)

GG would be far better googling it grin

Eh? No idea what is going on here. Sounds like sarcasm. Never heard of EEA but googled and this is what it seems to be EU countries and Norway, Iceland and Lichtenstein in single market: www.efta.int/eea

Professor of Economics?

I'd offer to help, but I don't think I'd pitch things at the right level for you gg. Professor of Economics is quite enough for one evening - don't want to be Professor of Brexit too.

Petra, I am aware that there are people on here that know many things in greater depth than I do, even though I read round the things that interest me. Thankfully they are usually kind enough to share that knowledge and I have been very grateful that they have.

Fabulous explanation, petra. We've all learned loads from it, I'm sure hmm

It's very simple. But then it is for me as I read an awful lot about the eu and trading agreements. I assumed that most of the contributors to the Brexit threads understood these agreements, but it seems I was wrong.
