It wasn't. There is no photo. We only know about it because the woman he gave a box of chocolates to put it on facebook, as an afterthought to the one about the shame she felt when a man died there. She was working there.

Yet so many young people stand to inherit lots of money. Millennials will inherit in a bigger way than any generation that has gone before. They have been brought up in privately owned homes and have had the privilege of working parents who have acquired property in the course of their lifetime. Most of us grow out of the idealism behind student politics and find the realism when we work, pay taxes and have aspirations.

The irony is that most of those at Glastonbury were privileged young people who could afford thousands in order to attend the festival! He was speaking to a crowd of youngsters who would take off their left-wing blinkers once they had to start paying the bills themselves.

Yes, I have heard that criticism of him too Jalima. Corbyn has become a more polished public speaker but you get the feeling that he avoids anything contentious and has a store of rehearsed answers (which say nothing) when faced with probing questions.

lemongrove Corbyn has always spoken out. He is a talented and committed orator with principles. That's why he was applauded at Glastonbury and many other places. He probably isn't speaking out about Iran because he knows that the situation is not simple and that many of the people who are commenting have their own political agenda.

Says it all really - young people and swayed in the same sentence. Labour rely on the gullibility, exuberance and "student politics" mentality of those who've hardly lived at all. They harvest the young. Look at Jezza and Glastonbury. Such exploitation, such gullible and privileged young people.

So many news and politics threads tend to be the same handful of left wing posters talking to themselves, convincing themselves Corbyn and co (Momentum) are coming to save them, that any other ideology or form of government is unacceptable and that Brexit won't happen.

As a newcomer to this thread (I think?) - is it possible that Corbyn does comment on all these things, but the media don't report it?

He hasn't lost Primrose's vote - he never had it. Some votes are not worth chasing as you will loose more of the principles you stand on, and therefore your core voters, in order to get them. He does not need 100% of the votes and can afford to ignore any extremist views. As I tend to ignore those people who do not argue the political points just attack Corbyn the man most of the time..

What does anyone really care about such attacks. He's flawed, you're flawed, I'm flawed - so what. I want to know what people's politics are, not nonsense about what they did half a century ago. Young people will certainly not be swayed by such tittle tattle.
