this was not a vote- but a Referendum. 26% of people voted for Brexit- all based on false information and lies.
Cameron had no right, based on UK Parliamentary Democracy, to say it would be implemented. BY UK LAW - Referendums are advisory, nothing more.
If it become clear that Brexit would seriously damage the UK and its future- as David Davis wisely says (rare that...) - if a Democracy cannot change its mind, it is not democracy.
So, a new referendum on the final deal (which is what I would like) is debatable. However in UK Parlimentary Democracy- our elected MPs have to study all the implications, and have a meaningful vote on the final deal. That is what OUR OWN Sovereign Parliamentary Democracy requires - this is what we elect MPs for.
