You have already said that Wally and I will ask you the same question I asked the first time. Do tell which University you went to (I assume you are about Corbyn's age) and what qualifications you got if suddenly only those with the qualification you require them to have would make a decent leader. After all after the current shower - with all their qualifications - anyone who is half good would be an improvement.

I thought that my answer was to what I was being asked. Firstly I'm older than Corbyn and in my day working class children didn't go to university even the Grammar school children. I don't know of one single child that went. Secondly I don't know what my education has got to do with anything as I'm not trying to be Prime Minister but here goes. I am a technician grade 4 and I found it very difficult I'm no brain of Britain but it got me by.

But really, Wally, what I was asking was, if you are asking us to judge Corbyn by his qualifications, by what qualification are we to judge your right to decide that is how we should all assess him.

People have shown leadership without having a 'leadership' qualification and been completely hopeless when highly qualified academically. I have a strong feeling that if his politics were different you wouldn't even have mentioned this.

Wally, your education is no one's business but you have the right to question the education of a person who wants to be PM and represent this country on the world stage.

Corbyn wasn't working class, very middle class, the class he now condemns.

I have made several points as to his unsuitability to be leader which you have ignored so I think it best if we move on as we're getting nowhere.

The fact that Corbyn has the education he has just seems to me to be totally irrelevant. You cannot, in my experience, judge leadership by academic qualification. Obviously you do Wally but I have not seen people leaping to agree with you that we should check the qualifications of all those standing for a vote from the country to put their party into power. Some, of course, will agree with any dig at Corbyn but we do have to be careful we don't set a standard that may not suit us when the politician whose views we do like comes along and, hey folks, he doesn't have he 'required qualifications' either.

It's a very divisive policy with voting very close. One of the most controversial issues is 19 out of 20 of the Labour councillors voting in favour of the plans are not standing in the May elections. This is why the council is trying to get the plan through before the election.

By stepping down as a councillor
By giving up their membership of the Labour Party
By being removed from the NEC
By being suspended from the Labour Party for wanting to discuss the rights of women

Pretty drastic way 'to get publicity'.

There must have been hundreds of very flaky people elected into positions of responsibility in the Labour Party for this to happen and even more flaky members.

Or there could be a more believable reason - they are all resigning for the reasons they state.

I do think we'd better keep our judgement on their politics- perhaps? Although I will say, for balance, that David Davies looks absolutely awful at the moment, puffy, grey and yellow- and completely off his rocker or permanently drunk. Not a good look - there I said it.
