This thread isn't about the government it's about Comrade Corbyn.

Didn't take long.

Ann Black, chair of Labours disciplinary committee has been thrown off and replaced by Christine Shawcroft, a left wing activist close to Corbyn and a director of Momentum.

A spokesman for .Labour has declined to comment .

jura2 you might think you are neither Lab nor Con, but suggest anything like. you have to the posters on this thread and you will be labelled a far left loonie before you know it. And then a Corbynista. It's a way of stifling any real debate about policies or the disaster that is now our government.

what I am saying is that the money spent on bailing out banks, and now bailing out Carillion- and picking up the pieces, in so many ways, including social - is vastly expensive. And that at least Labour has better motives than just pure greed.

I do not belong to the Left or the Right ...

My concerns are for my grandchildren, studying for three years , finding work only to pay for the effects of the far lefts land of Oz.

No one party can sort out the NHS, it does need a cross party working group

Wrong Jura. We'll be trillions in debt, and the taxpayer, the ordinary man and woman who strive every day, will pick up the tab.

The NHS is long overdue reform and that should be the remit of a cross party working group. There is not one political party in the UK that wants their name to be associated with the dismantling or destruction of the NHS - although Labour's Blair began the privatisation process.

Not one party will go down that road, so to keep blaming the Conservative party for it's struggles. (The NHS has been struggling for decades and doctors have said it's because of overusage and the cost of modern treatments - greater numbers using it) Labour's pious stance just doesn't wash any more.

Labour has that one tired old argument - we will save the NHS. It's a false argument

Those who do not contribute to the system in any way will benefit under a Labour government. Those on the hamster wheel, pounding away every day to make a living and save for the few aspirational things that make life worth living will pay the bills Labour runs up and we'll all be worse off and the country will take years to recover from profligate policies. Spend, spend spend, people worse off, followed by the next government having to tighten belts - or 'austerity' as we like to call it.

I feel so sorry for staunch Labour supporters who feel homeless now. I was one of you a decade or so ago but I'll never support Labour again. It is being lead by the nose by far left members who seem intent on only one thing -
chaos (and I'd bet some are hiding under Labour's cloak looking for anarchy too.)

Talking about Cons making the last comment you made on Corbyn and the left in general- rebellious rebels, muppets and puppets. Not nice, for sure.

How come the Momentum trio only had 12% of members supporting them . Now Lansman and co are running the NEC Corbyn will have to follow them , does this make him a puppet or a muppet ?

This isn’t the Carillion thread jura so how do we ‘get back to it’
If Corbyn had got into power last year he would have to sort out the fall out from Carillion and deliver on Brexit amongst other things.
Hard to imagine him making a good job of anything in politics other than rebellious rabble rousing speeches.

So, lets get back to Carillion, and the Banks- and the cost of privatising massive gains (huge % of tax unpaid and profits disapperaring in Tax Havens) - and the State (oh yes, the State is us of course- those who have no choice but to pay their taxes- you know, you and me) - will have to bail them out, again - pensions, small businesses, etc, etc, etc - just like we had to bail out the banks- and with the big guys coming out of it with their pockets full (abroad ... of course).

Could Corbyn and his socialist policies ever cost that much?

At least we would have the NHS running well, our schools and social services funded properly- and a fairer society. What do we get for the Cons and their mates getting us into this massive mess? And the social and human cost is massive.

Mandatory reselection will happen, in my opinion. It's already started in local councils in London and those not loyal to Momentum will be booted out 'as that is the will of the members'.

The far left are rejoicing, the end of the democratic Labour Party and the birth of the Militant party.

There is talk of some left of centre M.P's preparing to stand as independents at the next election . Remember Corbyn's hit list , he wants revenge

That's actually quite funny and sums up many of the committee meetings I have been to over the years- except he's wrong about it being just young people. I know a lot of "oldies" who won't set foot in a committee meeting ever again for exactly the same reasons.

If you're not sure of who Max Shanly is, he's a Momentum activist, 'key ally of Jon Lansman', on the Exec Committee of the Labour Youth Wing, spoke at the 2016 conference and his white paper on a new model for the LP has been submitted to the democracy review.

20% voted , 12% voted for the Momentum take over Labour Party .

The NEC is now controlled by Momentum , they can choose to change the way the party is run, they can bring in new rules, scrap the way the party has been run. Lansman is now more powerful than Corbyn
