What did Cunningham say annie?
No difference
Ah but there is a difference isn’t there? Morris was responding to the authoritarian action of the Tories.
Cunningham posted Nazi style posts because he believed in the sentiment.
I have agonised over voting, even lost sleep ? i think I will wait untill the de selections start , then I think of my Country and do not want Wales run by the tories. Now I am thinking this constituency hasn't been labour since the seventies , always was untill then, Labour has no chance here now.
So will vote Lib and canvas for Welsh Labour which causes me to feel guilty

Jonny Morris, a Labour councillor in Plymouth, made the gesture in protest after Conservative members voted to end a debate on the rise of council tax.
Some never learn.
Cornwall -Falmouth results
Labour 60% (+20%)
Tories 17.2% (-7.2%)
Lib dem 17.2% (-1.7%)
Green 5.3% (-11%)
Tory candidate is regretting his Nazi-style posts on Facebook a while ago.
Nice.
What happened in Bolton I wonder?
Imo opinion Sunderland was all about Brexit and Nissan. The workers have suddenly woken up as to what is going to happen to their jobs and the company.
Sunderland people asked the same question- and answered it today.
Chatting to a friend today; he was anti-Margaret Thatcher and thought Blair was 'just a Tory in disguise' but will not, cannot, vote for Corbyn and, worst of all, McDonnell.
He wants to know where that leaves him?
As do many of us.

If you are left wing you are/must be far or hard left.
No. However certainly the 'returned' and 'new" Labour members are happy to say they ' rejoined/joined because they felt the Labour Party had moved to the left/far left. Momentum required it's members to join Labour did it not.--
All left wingers are communists/marxists
No. Nobody knows how many are and how many are not. Certainly those Labour Members who describe themselves as far left would quite possibly be and an example would be "'I'm a Marxist " John McDonnell.---
All left wingers are members of Momentum (although some are undercover and denying this)
No . However all Momentum members are members of the Labour Party! . ' Party Members of Momentum must be members of the Labour Party by July 2017 and Momentum is seeking to become an official affiliate of the Labour Party.'-----
Momentum is taking over the Labour Party.
Yes and No. That is the view of many including some Labour MP's and Labour Councillor's . Momentum have a hold over the National Executive Committe now and the NEC is:-
The National Executive Committee (NEC) is the governing body of the Labour Party, overseeing the overall direction of the party and the policy-making process. It sets strategic objectives on an annual basis and meets regularly to review the work of the party.
The No's would be those who refuse to believe the power behind Corbyn is Seamus Milne and Momentum.----
All left wingers worship Corbyn.
No. Some it would appear do worship Corbyn and Momentum was founded for 'Jeremy the Leader', not the Labour Party. Other left wingers however have long memories and are unhappy he is Labour Leader.---
Well, as I can never travel light, yes please
Jalima
Are you plotting an escape somewhere exotic? Need someone to carry your bags?
Of course, for all we know the actual tenants in Haringey, as opposed to political activists, may well decide, when voting, on a nice new house to be built.
Sadie Khan whitewave ? ?
They briefly interviewed someone who said Momentum has no plan for housing in Haringey, which I think is correct.
So what are Momentum's plans for the country as a whole then?
Anyone know?
I hope it includes a fast turnround on passports.
whitewave jura
As you both found Lib Dems taking Sunderland from Labour a ' resounding success ' and "An amazing result - wow. Hope both labour and Tories get the message.". I thought you might find this interesting.
"Council By-Elections: Shock As Tories Snatch Bolton Seat From Labour"
" Jeremy Corbyn’s party boosted its share of the vote in the Bolton ward but still saw the Tories triumph after the governing party posted a bigger increase in its number of backers."
Hulton (Bolton). / Conservative gain from Labour
Throop & Muscliff (Bournemouth) / Independent gain from independent
Downhall & Rawreth (Rochford). / Lib Dem hold
Newport Pagnell North and Hanslope (Milton Keynes). /Conservative hold

Haringey is the first item on the BBC London news. Again.
They were covering the launch of Sadiq Khan's 'ask the residents what they want' initiative, backed by Corbyn. Some of the reporters (there were loads there, from many different outlets) suggested 'Jekyll and Hyde' or 'Laurel & Hardy' for the Sadiq Khan/Corbyn double act. It's very unusual for a party leader/Mayor or even a politician to command such little respect from the press and for that mockery to be broadcast.
They briefly interviewed someone who said Momentum has no plan for housing in Haringey, which I think is correct.
Message from Jeremy Corbyn.
Sadie Khan has introduced a new policy which will ensure that all tenants will be balloted before redevelopment.
Local democracy in action. The Haringey tenants have won a real victory.
Well done them.
What an amazing message from Sunderland
Lib Dem gain + 49.5 %
Labour minus 15.9
Cons minus 7.2
UKIP minus 24.7
What a strong message- and not for soft Londoners or Southerners either wahoo.

I saw him on that lemongrove and he was grim. I'm not a fan of overemotional language from politicians, where everything is an outrage and they are constantly in a state of disgust/horror/shock etc. He did strike me as the other extreme.
Some good news for Mr Corbyn though. After releasing his tax return, assuming his wife contributed nothing at all to the household income through her business, he's made it into the top 3% according to the IFS.
Well done Jeremy - he's certainly checking cheddar like a food inspector
Did anyone watch The Daily Politics?
Was that Chris Williamson or a robot? He spoke as if reading a script ( woodenly) and the ex councillor (blonde lady) spoke well and in fact her face said it all!
All thise years of belonging to Labour and doing their best as a councillor count for nothing if Momentum choose to bully you.
I did say a few pages ago, my issue is not whether the HDV proposed is right or wrong. That is not the core issue here.
"this is not about 'right and wrong' decisions - that's for the community to decide at the next local election. The councillors are only responsible to them, not us.
This is about the interference of the NEC, about intimidation and bullying, about hounding out people who disagree with you."
I have no idea what would have happened in the future in Haringey. No one knows if it would have been great or terrible. Some regenerations have been an abject failure. Some seem to be successful (I think Lambeth is going well) but only time will tell.
Primrose I have no time for Dave Hill because he's a long time Blair supporter of the use of PFI. This is the article that he wrote for the Guardian last October.
Dave Hill the Guardian Haringey
And this is a link to the article he mentioned
How developers exploit flawed planning system to minimise affordable housing
Please, please read the second article. I know it is long, but please look at the numbers and tell me public money is being well used or not.
