As far as I am concerned he fell beneath contempt, when having gone back to Vienna to spend Christmas with his children (who do not see much of him), he scarpered home on the 22 December to be with his mistress and couldn't be bothered to phone his deeply disappointed children even though he said he would.

I have yet to meet a woman who stays with a man only because he is a terrific lover, so I am ruling that one out too. (I didn't rule it in, if I am honest. <shudder> Can't see it being the case. )
