So Corbyn is lying when he says there is anti semitism in the party? Why has he apologised for something which doesn't exist ?

Nothing changes the fact he apologised yesterday for anti semetism in the party , the day before the demo at Westminster. He belonged to a group on the internet which had anti Semitic comments - but he didn't read them! He defended that painting but didn't look closely enough to see it was anti semantic .

Lemon, there isn't a mural. There hasn't been one for six years, so why can it be the straw that broke the camel's back?
The same mural was used to attack Labour even before Corbyn became leader, and before the referendum and before the second leadership vote.
You would think his opponents would think of another way to attack the man who is the least antisemitic in parliament, the man who has signed every EDM against antisemitism that has been through parliament.

whitewave you're an older member of the LP and you may not have seen anything much over the years, but the newer LP members surrounding Corbyn are a different lot entirely.

The more you all huff and puff and deny everything then the more obvious it is that you are employing these tactics to cover up the charges of antisemitism.
I suggest you listen to the radio, and watch tv today, a Labour MP was on Breakfast today talking about it, but I guess you would deny she is telling the truth as well.

I am utterly bewildered (well I’m not as the elections looming show with this level of attack how s...t scared the Tories are) at the accusation of anti-semitism. I’ve been a LP member the whole of my adult life.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN WITNESS TO NOR HEARD SECOND HAND ANY RACIST OR ANTI-SEMETIC DISCOURSE AT ALL.

In fact quite the reverse. As eleothan pointed out the Labour Party has always been in the forefront of fighting injustice and has been responsible for all the legislation relating to fighting this cause.

I completely reject that the LP is anti-Semitic as do many prominent Jews.

The Tories are in severe danger of overplaying their hand here as is beginning to be made clear on the social media.

Oh, and no, I do not see a Jewish conspiracy. Many Jews will be as ashamed of this misuse of peoples sympathy as I am. I see it as the worst of political opposition both on MSM and on here, something I would abhor any group doing. It is nothing actually to do with any attacks against Jews in reality.

I am concerned with racism and religious hatred world wide and will give weight to what is actually happening not to what the opponents of Labour - or any other party where this type of attack is used - see as a good way to attack their opponents.
