The Lindo Wing have put up no parking signs 9th to 30th April. Barriers have been set up.

I do hope it's an uncomplicated and quick birth. Not days of news showing the doors into the wing, and interviews with excited royalists .

Very wise Tanith, did you see even one camera ?

princesspamma Tue 10-Apr-18 17:30:27

How boring! I am a proud and fulfilled non-parent, and while I am sure the family is all very excited, and reasonable so, why is everyone else? Not our business (and obvs I seem to be not much of a royalist either lol), and really of no concern or interest to me, at least. Unless hubby is going to get a day off to celebrate, of course....just joking ladies!

tanith Tue 10-Apr-18 17:33:27

No not one ?

Anniebach Tue 10-Apr-18 17:39:30

You wouldn't make the first female 007 tanith ? Not even one , you chose the wrong entry doors ?

tanith Tue 10-Apr-18 17:52:54

No, right doors I know that hospital very well.
Here’s the proof ??

Every child is precious , I do think press always go over top an announcement would suffice .

lemongrove Tue 10-Apr-18 18:41:27

Just think though, whatever this royal baby does in the future it will enter the history books. That’s what now is, live events for us, and history for those yet to come.
Ten quid on the nose it’s a boy called Edmund. smile

Anniebach Tue 10-Apr-18 18:50:37

tanith, ? The cameras should have been there for you, we grans would have been thrilled x

Anniebach Tue 10-Apr-18 18:51:35

Edmund ? Edmund ? Surely not lemon ?

Marieeliz Tue 10-Apr-18 20:57:06

MaizieD what about all the immigrants who don't believe in birth control? They are not reducing their families, we will be overtaken before long. Know this is not PC but it is free speech.

My money is in Phillip or Alice?!!grin

Anniebach Tue 10-Apr-18 21:40:12

I like Alice .

paddyann Tue 10-Apr-18 22:17:25

thing isgreengran78 mr Trump can be voted out ...this ever increasing crowd of hangers on is lining up heirs for the next hundred years ...now you may be happy with that but it is totally against everything I believe in for peoplem to be in this position because of an accident of birth.

Much better if someone has to work their socks off to get on in life and not be the poster boys/girls...kings queens for entitlement. It is a mediaeval concept along with their out of date EMPIRE medals that they hand out to folk who the establishment think are "deserving" such as rock stars and Tory business men that pay the party huge sums for their titles ...giving them privileges too.The whole shebang is rotten to the core

There are countless heads of state that do a great job with little fuss, dont live in multiple homes or have massive families hanging on ...Trump is the byword for the other kind though hopefully not for too long

nigglynellie Tue 10-Apr-18 22:26:45

My granddaughter is called Alice annie, that's why I favour it!! Phillip? Well he's a good old boy and maybe deserves a namesake!!

Jalima1108 Tue 10-Apr-18 23:07:02

Do you think I will have to call her “Princess” while she’s wiping my bum Jalima?
Certainly I think that attempting a curtesy whilst having your bum wiped could prove a bit tricky gillybob.
You could practise for a bit first.

Jalima1108 Tue 10-Apr-18 23:12:29

Alice - wasn't she a favourite aunt of HM, so a possibility.
Victoria, Elizabeth, Catherine

Arthur, James, Philip, Michael

lemongrove Tue 10-Apr-18 23:19:37

I heard that Wills is a Blackadder fan Annie ?

Jalima1108 Tue 10-Apr-18 23:21:56

Percy?
or Baldrick

Jalima1108 Tue 10-Apr-18 23:22:31

Oh please bring back Gertrude!

Goodbyetoallthat Tue 10-Apr-18 23:33:53

Somebody mentioning Blackadder has got me chuckling about Mrs Miggins & nanny Bernard grin

Maggiemaybe Wed 11-Apr-18 00:24:13

I have bets on Matilda and John. Only because they both had odds of 100 to 1. Like Chardonnay and Wayne. grin

absent Wed 11-Apr-18 06:29:13

I love it – HRH Princess Chardonnay. Truly a royal of the twenty-first century.

Maggiemaybe Wed 11-Apr-18 09:08:43

Or Princess Waynetta? I really can’t think why it’s out there at 200 to 1. grin

Anniebach Wed 11-Apr-18 09:08:50

Doubt John, there hasn't been one since the little prince John who was kept from the public eye .

Anniebach Wed 11-Apr-18 09:11:52

I loved Blackadder, had an affinity with Baldrick ?
