That is so sad ga - it happened several times to my second DD, and she too had trouble conceiving; but she now has two lovely boys and I hope that there will be an equally happy outcome for your foster son's wife in the fullness of time.

UPDATE:
I just heard the news that the scan has shown the baby has died - there was no heartbeat or movement. Instead of flowers I sent a little white rose that can be planted in remembrance. My unborn babies were barely acknowledged, so I'm very glad we live in more enlightened times now. Feeling very sad for them. sad

I always hoped that one of my grandsons would be an Edward, I really like the name, but my son took first dibs on the name and he and his wife have yet to produce - I'm half expecting that when they do it'll be a girl anyway.

My foster son's wife has lots of health problems and had difficulty getting pregnant, but lots of pray-ers are on the case and we're trying to remain hopeful. My daughter bled on and off through her pregnancy and some of you will remember my granddaughter arrived at just 26 weeks, but is now a healthy, if extremely tiny, three year old.

Cousin's DD gave birth to a son this morning, just beating Kate by an hour and a half. Frederick Edward is his name and his Mum was only in hospital an hour when he was born.

Good luck to all - who needs new princes when there are new GC on the horizon?!

ga - I hope that all goes well for your foster son and family - I too have experience of this and I was lucky enough to go on to a full term pregnancy - so let us hope that this is so in this case.

My son and his wife know they are going to be parents to a baby girl when she arrives but my DGS and his wife decided they did not want to know this time around so we will have a nice surprise, they already have a pink one and she wants a baby sister.
GA My DD bledd at 12& 14 weeks and she went on to full term with baby no 3 who was a healthy baby boy weighing nearly 9lb.I hope things go well I'm sure they will.

Whilst that is of course worrying ga it's not always bad news. I bled for 3-4 days at 13 wks and went on to have a healthy full term baby. I sincerely hope this will be the case.
Best of luck to your DD and all others about to give nirth.

Along with gillybob, glamma and, I think, MissAdventure (?) I'm waiting for a call to say that my daughter has gone into labour. Anyone else got a baby due imminently?
Whilst typing this I just got a text from my foster son to say his 3 months pregnant wife has started bleeding. Oh no!
