She's representing her constituents who voted Remain, as she is entitled to do. Also, she's considering the good of the country, which is the key duty of an MP.

Just imagine that 52% of her constituents had voted to bring back hanging. Would you castigate her for not voting for it|?

No Mazie it's not 28 million eligible voters who didn't vote leave it's 28% of eligible voters who didn't bother to vote which equates to about 13 million.

48 million folk living in the UK in 2016 who did not vote for brexit - some chose not to vote, some were too young (including the 16-18 year olds who were allowed to vote in the Scottish referendum), and more than 3 million EU citizens living in this country and paying taxes who were disenfranchised, along with quite a lot of British citizens living in the EU.

Actually, according to the Twitterati, not me, I have no interest in her, but considering she was democratically elected to parliament using the same voting principals applied to the referendum i find her actions difficult to understand. Surely those who cannot represent their constituents when they give a democratically achieved result should resign...or is it too cushy a number?

No varian, just over 16 million didn't vote for Brexit. To state that 48 million didn't vote for Brexit when that includes those who didn't bother to vote, those not eligible to vote, those who were disenfranchised and "quite a lot of British citizens living in the EU" is grossly misleading.

So let's get this right shall we. The number of people who didn't vote for Brexit was 16 million 141 thousand and 241.
It could just as easily and ridiculously be claimed that 48 million didn't vote remain.

I have never claimed that all these folk voted Remain. They did not. But it is true that 48 million people who lived in the UK in 2015 did not vote for brexit.

Do you get that many did not vote, because they didn't know what they were supposed to vote for? Because they had NO idea what it would mean for the UK, in real terms, in real life ... just like you did not either.

Apart from that, 1000s of older voters have died, 1000s of young voters who could not vote, woud now be able to vote. 1000s of UK citizens abroad, who pay taxes in the UK and have contributed all their lives could not vote - and many more.

Lots of people of the older age group who if they did vote probably voted Leave according to the statistics have passed away — so that number needs to be deducted from the 17 million!

I have to pick you up on that jura as I knew exactly what I was voting for, to leave the EU.
We were not voting for the manner in which we left, that was up to the government’s negotiators to get the best deal possible in order for us to leave.
You can only count the people who had the vote and actually used it, anything else is nonsense.

There are no made up figures. Out of about 65 million folk living in the country in 2016, about 17 million voted leave. Therefore about 48 million did not. We make no assumptions just state the actual fjgures.
