gilly/mostly I recently bought 6 DVD's of the film 'I, Daniel Blake' to circulate in the town simply because I got frustrated at trying to explain to people how difficult the benefit system can be to navigate.

What drives me to distraction at the moment though is that people don't believe it's possible to be in work and still be living on the margins. I am constantly being told that it's 'bad money management' when I know to a penny how much my clients earn and that a child needing winter shoes and a coat can throw the family budget out for months, that the washing machine breaking down is a catastrophe and a rise in the cost of gas or electric can reduce a grown man to tears.
