I have at no time defended the action of those who surrounded Soubry and certainly I have gone to great lengths to point out bullying is not a left/right of politics problem!

I was surprised a poster raised the point it was possibly 'staged' by posting this :-

"Apparently there is evidence that the hecklers who "harassed" Anna Soubry was all a set up.She knew them and knew when they were going to do it .

I do not think Soubry ' set up' anything so I am sorry if my post has been misconstrued by some posters perhaps I made a clumsy attempt to portray that message.

I thought all this subterfuge was done on park benches with newspapers.

It's all on film. If you look at the film you will see one of the 'main' hecklers, he crosses from the right walking towards ASs 'press man, Sean somebody.

This heckler puts his right hand inside 'Sean's' coat and quickly backs off.

The clip might not be the one she was talking about but it shows the same incident that she describes. You have to be a bit eagle eyed to see it.

Incidentally, I found this particular one on twitter, posted by a Leaver who was making the same insinuations. I saw it on many timelines just after the incident, just didn't save it so had to hunt a bit for it today (twitter moves fast.and things drop out very quickly) Even though it might not be easily found by googling it's still out there.

...oh, and I include the far left as well as the far right in that, too...

Are you saying the video was manipulated to make it look worse than it is? This is the first time in my life that I have been afraid to wear my political heart on my sleeve and am scared to wear anything anti Brexit in public.

It seems odd that the other days' news reports were on that bbc website but the one for 7th January did not appear to be there.

I was adressing 2 people in one post, POGS. Petra seemed to 'know' something she wasn't being forthcoming about.

I would have thought that had it been true, one of the harassing group would have told the full story to the press by now. The RW press would have lapped it up and made a real meal of it.

Perhaps the lady in the know, petra, could explain why this tale is only being spread by means of nods and winks.

I've just watched again. It's not under sky news, it is under BBC East Midlans news 7th Jan.
Sean has a scarf on with a press tag round his neck.

Actually paddyann you could be right - maybe there is something in what you say as, even at the time of the heckling outside the HoC, Ms. Soubry was smiling at the TV Sky cameras as she walked in! She certainly didn’t look upset. I remember commenting on this to my husband that day.

Was the second demo when he was arrested arranged to paddyanne?

Yes; I'd like to know, too. Mind you, as one of them has been arrested and bailed, I'm sure it will come out in court.
