Not wearing a seat belt is arrogant ? It may be stupid but it isn’t arrogant. Is everyone booked for speeding arrogant ?

He has had countless accidents, have these been recorded or are there people coming forward now ? I read one man claimed Phillip nearly ran into him 30 years ago

No. I didn't say that. But there's no point worrying, or even caring, about it.

I don't care if he wears a seatbelt or not. But I do care that the people in the other car receives appropriate compensation.

Not wearing a seatbelt on a public road is arrogant when, according to Ken Wharfe, a former protection officer, all the RF were told it was against the law not to wear one when the legislation first came into force.

PP clearly thinks he's above the law.

Not wearing a seat belt is plain silly, when the law insists on it and all the evidence backs it up.

Practically everything the D of E says and does illustrates how arrogant and disdainful of the general population he is. One of his comments that always sticks in my mind is:

I think it's perfectly ok to be arrogant and distainful if that's your bag, just as it's ok to be a sycophant.
One doesn't need to subscribe to that behaviour in order to accept that behaviour in others.
Live and let live, unless you can't abide fellow humans who have different traits to those you deem acceptable.
In that case, perhaps cloning yourself might be an idea.

Anniebach There are many mentions of PP's previous accidents online, including one or more when he had the Queen in the car. I don't think he's actually totalled 2 cars until now, though.

Being disdainful/arrogant is acceptable?? . In simple language that is saying it's ok to be unpleasant/not nice to others. Strange way of thinking.

Phillip is being criticised because he is not giving in to old age, something applauded on this forum , he has been driving for over 70 years, now it seems he has been in several accidents over this period, never heard of him being taken to hospital, or the queen, because of injuries .

What is repeated on this thread is the fact he was able to have a second car delivered , wealthy. He is a member of the royal family, arrogant thinks he is above us. Even ‘he has dementia’.

Annie re PP's previous car accidents, I did point out that this recent one was the worst, although he has run people off the road before, apparently. Perhaps it was just the other person good driving that prevented a serious crash?

I think even you, Annie, will have to agree that there's a difference between "not giving in to old age" and driving carelessly and dangerously.

We have always had cars delivered after an accident, we pay for this in our insurance premiums.

Well, I'm certainly not jealous of their wealth or privilege. I couldn't give a fig! And I am usually a supporter of the RF, as long as it is slimmed-down, but I'm in agreement with what seems to be the consensus on mainstream media that PP should give up driving.

People aren't going to change their outlook ir behaviour just because you don't happen to like it.

I don't care if people are arrogant or disdainful. It wouldn't affect me.
Nor would it if the person was overtly humble or sycophantic.
I bet there are many GNers who have relatives with traits that they think are awful but in many cases they either overlook them for the sake of peace or put up with it. It doesn't mean that that behaviour is endorsed.
You can always remove yourself from the company of those whose manners are unacceptable.
Every person sets their own standard.
