If security firms paid better wages then more people would be willing to work but when there are large volumes of people entering any country and the staff either can't cope, or are thin on the ground then what are you supposed to do ? The easiest option-----let them pass as does happen.

My D works in security, this is how I know, and risks her life at times.

Border control can't check everyone coming and going, there aren't enough staff.
