Corbyn is a racist. He’s made racist remarks and praised those preaching anti semitism.

Abbott has made many many racist remarks.

Those are facts.

As you are now no longer needed (as stated in a previous post/thread) in Switzerland, why not come back ASAP to the country to which you want to make a difference?
You have so much to say on the subject so why not be at the heart of it?

Mycatisahacker Wed 01-May-19 14:26:39

Oh dear if you think Nigel Farrage is far right you need to watch the news and bone up on your Current affairs.

Look at Spain France Germany and Hungary.,

The post at 21.36 completely shows how awful attitudes are towards Nazis and the holocaust

As the impossibly stupid Lammy demonstrated throwing out comments that sections of the Tory party are nazis demonstrates their ignorance and stupidity over anti Semitism.

Just as Corbyn slaying wreaths and forwards for books Is so terribly worrying

Lily65 Wed 01-May-19 14:24:00

So it's OK to say Corbyn is racist?

Would anybody care to comment on their views regarding NF..,is he a racist?

GrannyGravy13 Wed 01-May-19 14:22:11

GabriellaG54, flipping heck I have only just noticed "Grandads" post..............!!!!

GabriellaG54 Wed 01-May-19 14:21:21

I know perfectly well that there is no legislation requiring me to read posts. Nor is there legislation which requires me to answer any post whether or not I have reason to do so.
I don't answer boring tripe.

GabriellaG54 Wed 01-May-19 14:08:55

Grandad1943
I think it's best that you stop referring to Nigel Farage in the manner you did in your post @21.36 yesterday.
It's unwarranted and distasteful.
Next time I will get it removed.

Lily65 Wed 01-May-19 14:06:04

Does that include NF ?

Mycatisahacker Wed 01-May-19 13:58:22

I don’t think he’s thick at all I think he’s a racist. Let’s face it his old shag Abbott is.

The far left and the far right are always racist.

Admiring an anti semetic mural was acknowledging its
Historical significance?

The excuses put forward as a defence of Corbyn is not
Anti semetic!

I agree with a comment I heard this morning on Corbyn

He is either as thick as mince , anti semetic or both

Mycatisahacker Wed 01-May-19 13:53:03

It’s bizarre isn’t it GrannyGravy the man can he as racist and nasty as anything and they still defend him.

I don’t get it. Just don’t get it.

Waiting for it all to be a right wing media plot next.

Lily65 Wed 01-May-19 13:46:38

impressive linguistic skills jura. I wish I had more than 50 year old French.

GrannyGravy13 Wed 01-May-19 13:43:49

Defending the indefensible springs to mind!!!!

Mycatisahacker Wed 01-May-19 13:41:27

My god trisher you defend him on this???

Would you write a forward which actually praises this book that declares Jews are in charge of banks and are cooperating and conspiring around the world!

Now I don’t know if he is thick and stupid or really a racist but in no way is he fit to be a PM. No way.

I suggest you actually leave your echo chamber, turn on LBC and listen to the outrage and sorrow of Jewish labour voters.

Honestly. Unbelievable you defend this after the appalling comments about the mural.

trisher Wed 01-May-19 13:36:36

This was a book first published in 1902 republished in 2011 and of historical interest because of its investigation of imperialism, which is why Corbyn wrote a forward to it. If we are going to start applying today's standards to yesterday's books what else should we condemn? Gibbon's Decline and Fall isn't exactly PC. Really the desperate ends being used to condemn Corbyn are becoming ludicrous. Publishing controversial texts has always been part of free speech and acknowledging a book for its historical significance is not anti-semitic.

Mycatisahacker Wed 01-May-19 13:09:42

Sorry on LBC...

Mycatisahacker Wed 01-May-19 13:09:15

Anniebach

They are discussing this on Sheila’s show talk radio.

He really is a silly sod isn’t he!

jura2 Wed 01-May-19 11:14:22

Urmstongran- you have made that comment before- and I did give you a full and comprehensive answer. But here goes :

we have lived and worked all our adult lives in the UK, and are solely dependent on our UK pensions. We have our children and grandchildren in the UK, most of our family and friends- and now my parents no longer need our help abroad, we intend to come back to the UK at some point- where we still have a property to come back to. We have lost 50% + of our income due to family Sterling rates in the last few years- if the Pound tanks, with the economy, because of Brexit- we will have no choice but to return- as we could be down on income by 60% and more.

But more importantly, we love the UK - OH is British and lived all his life here from the age of two - I came in 1970 and got British Nationality in 73. We truly feel that we have two homes- where we feel equally, but differently, totally comfortable- we come home to UK, then we go back home to Switzerland. Both bilingual- me 100%, and also speak German and Italian- and with great friends on both sides. I feel British, and Swiss- but I feel even more European.

But mainly- Brexit will destroy Europe- with massive consequences for cooperation, research, safety, environment - and with the true risk that as Europe fractions, and everyone fights for their own corner 'against' the others- it will become a very dangerous world, and we both truly fear for our grandchildren. Hope that makes my/our position clearer.

Anniebach Wed 01-May-19 10:11:10

Unbelievable, he wrote the foreword to an anti semetic book but he wasn’t supporting the anti semetism in the book

GrannyGravy13 Wed 01-May-19 10:07:20

If anyone knows what Corbyn would do I would be surprised as he has done nothing for the last 3 years!! He cannot think or speak without copious notes and needs momentums permission.

Farage like him or loath him has a growing swathe of grass roots electorate backing/following him as they feel so betrayed by both Conservatives and Labour !!

Mycatisahacker Wed 01-May-19 09:50:37

Grandad1943

I find Farrage less frightening than Corbyn to be honest.

Urmstongran Wed 01-May-19 09:38:19

Aren’t you an ex pat jura? Does any of this affect you or are you just interested/concerned? Genuine question. I know you live in Switzerland.

jura2 Wed 01-May-19 09:08:38

... and when the majority of your members have signed the pledge 'I will NOT vote for a Brexit Party' - and the extreme right that have been tagging along will also vote for another party?

So scupper the country for the Party- and all in vain anyhow ...

jura2 Tue 30-Apr-19 23:21:55

But can't ou see Grandad- that there is NO TIME to play the longer than longer game ?!? No point in having a GE he will probably lose, and no point wanting to fix things when there will be no money left in the country or companies and wealth to tax- no doctors or nurses, carers, and the country is on its knees?
