That he caused the pipes in the H of C to bend and so flood the chamber? He’s been given airtime to explain how and why. Well he either needs arresting or sectioning imo?

Tuppnce Thu 04-Apr-19 23:55:59

Bonkers!

Sussexborn Thu 04-Apr-19 23:58:28

Sectioning I would think. Once people have been in the limelight they seem very reluctant to slip back into obscurity. Seems an odd bandwagon to jump on and rather smacks of desperation. Perhaps he is planning a tour of the U.K. or Europe..

maryeliza54 Fri 05-Apr-19 00:04:43

He says he’s a Remainer ???

janeainsworth Fri 05-Apr-19 00:08:03

Gosh, I thought he’d died some time ago grin

vigdis Fri 05-Apr-19 04:30:48

.. arresting ... and then sectioning. I think he's been 'losing it' for a while now grin

vigdis Fri 05-Apr-19 04:40:00

... just told my partner, and he suggested that Geller should, obviously, now pay for the repairs wink

petunia Fri 05-Apr-19 07:04:59

ha ha ha ha ha ......oh, he really said it! then in that case, as vigdis says, he should pay for the damage

BradfordLass72 Fri 05-Apr-19 07:13:54

Treason ! Off with his head !! grin

(and his wallet)

maryeliza54 Fri 05-Apr-19 07:14:19

He said in the interview I heard that he would happily pay for the damage because if he was sent the bill, it would prove that people believed he’d done it - can’t fault that logic.

NfkDumpling Fri 05-Apr-19 07:39:36

Send him the bill then. If he’s rich enough and daft enough to pay it. Perhaps he’ll pay for the whole roof. Would he accept the repairs to Big Ben too do you think?

Chewbacca Fri 05-Apr-19 08:10:10

He must be very desperate for another 15 minutes of fame I think.

GrannyGravy13 Fri 05-Apr-19 08:40:03

He was interviewed before 29/3
stating he will use all of “his powers” to thwart Brexit.

Anja Fri 05-Apr-19 09:36:07

?

EllanVannin Fri 05-Apr-19 09:38:20

The man's crackers !

Callistemon Fri 05-Apr-19 09:48:50

It was a joke, surely?

Reports of his death were premature, janeainsworth!

Granny23 Fri 05-Apr-19 10:02:09

He is not crackers, just a great showman and illusionist. He is also very clever in that most of us cannot work out how he does his tricks. This stunt is easy though - first claim that you are going to do something (unspecified) to disrupt Brexit. Then wait for something unusual to happen and claim that you engineered it with your 'powers'. Simples!

sunseeker Fri 05-Apr-19 10:28:34

Google his appearance on the Johnny Carson show, the producers put together various items and did not let Uri or any of his staff touch them prior to the show. He was asked to use his "gifts" to affect those items - and failed completely.

He said he hadn't been told he would be asked to do this, that he only expected to be asked questions and that he felt he was being pressed and was feeling weak

Anniebach Fri 05-Apr-19 10:32:49

He was on a reality programme some years ago, he performed a ceremony to send his thoughts to Michael Jackson on Jackson’s birthday, he had the wrong day

merlotgran Fri 05-Apr-19 10:33:24

What's Brexit got to do with him anyway?

Is Israel part of the EU?

lemongrove Fri 05-Apr-19 11:12:06

The trouble is GG13 that he doesn’t have any powers!grin

Telly Fri 05-Apr-19 11:14:43

Of course he did! shame he didn't announce his intentions in advance!

Razzy Fri 05-Apr-19 11:26:27

Sorry, I think he is an idiot! He went into my husband's shop once, to purchase something for a few hundred pounds, and when my husband told him the price, he said "don't you know who I am? I don't normally have to pay for stuff!" and was extremely rude! My husband just quietly said, yes, I know who you are, and it is £xxx He didn't buy it!

Caledonai14 Fri 05-Apr-19 11:37:43

Well, it would have been good if he could have done it when the disruptors were supergluing themselves to the balcony glass.

I have no problem with peaceful protest, but things are too serious just now for showboating about a side issue and there is too much aggression and disrespect being shown to Parliament and MPs in a way that could prove dangerous in future.

Some poor, innocent security person is probably in very deep doo doo after the naked malarkey and that plumbing "malfunction" might have made the protestors wish they'd kept their clothes on. blush

PS I don't really believe the pipes were magicked to burst!

lemongrove Fri 05-Apr-19 15:31:15

It wasn’t a set of spoons was it Razzy ? grin
